Situation:
Today I had a angry costumer. Who insisted that you could put a mat on a stretched canvas, Pastel painting. I am a professional apprentice framer. One years experience this Sept, 2022. I was taught that you cannot put a mat on a stretched canvas paintings. But I could be wrong. So I want to ask here.
Is there a way to mount stretched canvas painting on a mat?
