Highlander Adjust model has basically crampons and side teeths to grip to ice. I haven't lost grip on steep icy up or downhills. I think my brother's Symbioz model are better for flat land walking because of more flex. Neither of these are best for deep snow floatation.

Which is better for steep terrain? since these models are designed for steep terrain and less for flat hikes. I need snoeshoes for mountainering
