A good narration of events sequentially arranged. From a narrow perspective of relevance for a competitive exam, it is quite sound.
However, I believe the youth must be prodded to analyse the aspect of human values hidden in this narration for the purpose of their character building and national patriotic vision so that they can pay heed to the pitfalls in Nation building and opt for the enlightened path in life as an Indian.

One important issue not discuss in this is in 1947 after independence sikhs was ask it's sikhs wish to be with India or to form independent country but sikh merged with India.
Yes Sikhs wanted to stay with India because they were promised autonomous Punjab in 1947. But the gov't back stabbed them and broke up the state of Punjab in 1996.
