you can You can even fix the broken flak thro.. any glass fabricators (local) there are no such control / critical parameters (like measurements) are involved wrt flask.

The water circulation through the condenser must be atleast Zero °C for effective recovery.. otherwise vapour will escape through pump..

Controlled vacuum is used to bring solvents to boiling or near-boiling.
I don't know but solutes or solvents ni separate ayinappudu it might be the barrier

as per my knowledge we don't use ethanol because it is inflammable solvent
