I remember being really excited for this film as it was a reteaming of Marc Dacascos and Kedeem Hardison, who were great together in Drive (1997). I was so letdown by this thing. You are right, this is the only good scene in the film. The rest is just so dull and boring. What a waste of two actors who had made such a great film a few years prior. This was a staple of the early 2000's video store.
