    Eclypsee tech, may i ask you a question? My mother has a android 8 huawei phone and plays sketchy games with lots of ads in it, we have bitdefender on the phone but the internet module is constantly getting turned off. she doesn even get a notification of it now. Remote fix through central doesn't work. we through it was due to the battery saving feature of the phone. but it won change a thing. could this be a payload? Everything else works just fine and there is no odd behaviour on her accounts

    It would be interesting to see Kaspersky Vs Trend Micro or Norton against a bunch of samples.

    Hi, which anti-ransomware do you suggest:)?
    From the following below:
    * Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office
    * Check Point ZoneAlarm Anti-Ransomware
    * Data443 Ransomware Recovery Manager
    Inexpensive Protection
    or
    * Neushield Data Sentinel
    * Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Home
    Could you test, I would like to which one , really work!

    Hi, perhaps a silly question, but after I succesfully installed Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Home, Defender blocked it saying: "For security reasons, the administrator does not allow you to access the content from C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Home 6.4\kl_service.exe". Defender's options are OK or UNLOCK. Is that regular? What should I do? Should I UNLOCK? Should I create an exception in Defender? Thanks in advance.

      You should unlock, haven't seen something like that but Kaspersky is Russian after all so it's probably just a vendetta towards Kaspersky products.

      You don't need anti ransomware if you got system watcher.

      Kaspersky antivirus system watcher provide same protection as anti ransomware. They are same component with different name.

      @@EclypseeTech so whats better to have anti ransomware and anti virus cuz it looks they both protect from all malware

      @@shorts9900 Unsure, Haven't really tried both like this.

      @shifcps1754 Год назад +4

      @@shorts9900 you can't install both in same machine because kaspersky antivirus doesn't support kaspersky anti ransomware. And they both provide same protection. So you don't need to install kaspersky anti ransomware if u use kaspersky antivirus.

      The ransomeware module is included. The free version can run alongside other antivirus though.
