Paramotor crash landing on golf course! What not to do during an engine out.

- I was at the end of a 2 hour cross country flight and about a mile away from my LZ. I knew I was low on fuel but did not realize how low. After a few bad decisions I got "lucky" to hang my wing up in some trees before making my way into the parking lot. I was foot dragging on the green but did not consider the extra 30ft of glide after the elevation of the green dropped off. In hindsight I should have stuck with my initial spot landing that was the driving range, plenty of room to land and I doubt anyone would continue driving the ball when they saw a paramotor coming down. Not to mention getting hit by a golf ball would have been much more convenient then the next hour we spent extracting my wing from the trees. In the end I didn't tear up any gear (wing and motor/prop were perfectly fine) was not hurt at all and luckily the members of the country club found humor in the situation as well. Big thank you to Jeremy and Brad for helping me getting my wing and gear back to the truck, lots of lessons were learned that day.

Jo that was great no damage, you can do butterfly, pull boths brake no complete deep and let go do again that slow the wing and increase angle of attack and do a short landing cutting down the glide. But all good thanks for share. SIV next hahahaaaa
Did you have your trimmers fully open the whole time? I can't see you closing them .
Don't get mad, but I don't understand .... I think it was a clearly unmanaged landing maneuver. There was plenty of space everywhere and landing on a tree was unnecessary and risky .... It turned out well, but it could have been a serious accident.
That’s a golf course at belle glades I flew several time over there, that was fun just that happens hahahahahaaa
