Hey Frank - thank you again for your awesome video - meanwhile I have the USB-TetherTools-Cable, a clamp to tighten the iPad-Pro onto a tripod-leg and I have downloaded the Cascable App. As it seems, the App has become some several updates since you produced your video. The interesting fact is, that I can use nearly the complete App for free - there are only some features, which are only in the pro-version available. The most important features like tethering with cable, adjusting the cam and so on is available in the free version - do you if it makes basically any sense, to buy the pro version??

Hello Frank, Thank you for your great video, I was waiting for this update Fromm Cascable for a long time. I have purchased the pro version to use with my IPad Pro and A7rIV, but am facing an issue with full resolution raw files preview for tethering. I used the tethering mode of the app but I am not getting the full resolution raw files automatically (only a low resolution version is coming up) and cannot zoom to check my focus. When I view the images in the storage management tab, I can view the full resolution raw image. This solution is not beneficial for me since I have to manually swipe to view the new captured image. Is there a way to automatically get full resolution raw files as I shoot to check the focus? You assistance is greatly appreciated.

This doesn't work for Fujifilm cameras unfortunately. Given how crap the Fuji App is, and that Lightroom Mobile inexplicably can't tether, it seems £5p/m for Capture One is the only option now...

Did you set the Fuji up for usb tethering?
Its a separate setting in the menu
Also try without a card in the camera

Or do you mean capture one ?
That can't be bought indeed. Cascable can. I always prefer that option

After watching your video I’ve purchased the full version, connected the Sony A7lV, worked for about a minute then lost connection. I tried everything to connect again, spent hours but nothing. Same with my Sony ZVE10, worked for a couple of shots then tried the A7IV again, nothing. Back to zve10, nothing, ‘no camera found’. I used tetherPro cable, iOS 15.5 on iPad Pro, pc remote on cameras, no other apps open on iPad. Eventually I gave up, very frustrating just ruined my day so I’ve asked for refund from Apple. Waiting for a decision…

      Don't.
If you read their site (and the article I posted yesterday) it's very simple to solve.
Whenever you turn the sony off you have to remove the battery for just a second and than it will connect just fine again.
It's the way iOS handles the port assignment.
I Just leave the camera on while charging via USB. Works like a charm .
When you run on battery power just do the battery trick (it's a three seconds work) and it will work again. Every single time.
It shouldn't lose connection during a shoot. If that happens it's something else. I've done whole shows and full day workshops with the software so it's rock solid by itself.

If you watch the digital classroom series you see the whole shoot and also sometimes me editing in the iPad. But mostly the shoot.
That's all live so it gives a good idea of the speed and stability.

When it works it's great but only for jpg.
Main problem is interference and its very unreliable in different situations.
We had a huge problem in stores with wireless security cameras for example. In our studio it mostly worked great. But we need something that doesn't work most of the time. We need something thats fast and reliable
