In the meantime, physical is pretty trash but Athena will be quite strong once she gets her buff. Shu is still garbage but she does get a buff and skillchain with Thor much, much later (which forms a pretty good thunder team for those without Tsuku and Buzenbo) so there's hope for the 5 S Shu fans out there. I was gonna skip her, forgetting about how busted she is with Thoth coming up, and then get her within 22 summons 😅 after i had to go full 90 pity to get S Buzenbo 😂

it is true that spending event was for the 3.0 update for CN tho so its hard to say if we're get he same event and Thoth functor is a lot more important but you should be able to get it for free assuming we get he same spending event.

hi there welcome, there is not slot requirement to get the 3 set effect however each of the 6 slot have 2 unique fixed perks. for example slot 1 may have ATTACK % CRIT RATE but slot 2 might have HP and DEFFENSE so picking the slots the most most offensive 2 fixed perks is going to make a deference so no where the 3 set is place does not effect weather or not the sigils effect becomes active but their placement does effect how much benefit your character get from them. some running a certain set for 1,3 and 5 might have a much higher dps then another running the same set but on slots 2, 4 and 6 because the fixed perks for 1, 3 and 5 better for offense.

Not a bad choice for newbies since Thor will be one of the mods on the soon to be added beginner banner and Shu will be added to the standard banner pool. before you go for dupes always get the weapon first because the biggest advantage to getting a dupe is its free 2+ tier to your functor. also remember you can get a characters functor at anytime so there's never a reason to go it immediately, grab the characters you need first and go back for functors down the line if you feel like you really need them.

@@Ray_Kaminari he means that getting your mod rank up to SS will basically increase the effects of the functor, e.g. if 10% crit rate is the base effect of the functor then a +2 effect may be 15% crit rate. As an F2P though, don't bother pulling for SS or functors as you need your currency for new mods - almost every future mod is a recommended pull except Lu Wu so be smart and save. As a latecomer you'll also be missing older meta mods like S Hera, Lingguang and Jinwu and you'll want to pull for them as well. You will NOT have any to spare for dupes or sigs.
@@Ray_Kaminari so all base level functors are Transcendence tier 1, meaning you only have 1 copy of the functor. some of the bonuses provide by the functor will usually have a text next to it saying something like (+8% per Transcendence). meaning the bonus provided will have its benefit increase by that amount with each extra copy of the functor you get. so if the base number for that bonus was say 30% crit damage and it say (+8% per Transcendence). getting the character equip with that functor to SS would raise the functors Transcendence tier from 1 to 3 because that's what SS does in aether gazer raise your weapons transcendence level by 2 essentially giving you 2 free copies of the weapon even though you only have 1 copy, so that 30% crit damage goes from 30% to 46% because it stated ( +8% per transcendence) so if you were to summon for a SSS character and just get 1 copy of their functor that functor is actually at T3 while equip to that character since they are at SS+. you just never really want to go SS+ on a character without getting their functor because SS boost the functors bonus and if you have no functor then its fairly fairly pointless. SS will grant the character +10 levels to one of their skills and + 60 attack and their base stats ( we're use s buzenbo as an example ) goes from 9.18 attack to 11.26 attack literally a dop in the bucket. while the functor would speed up your rations leading to more DPS and bonus the damage of several aspect of your kit which further increase your DPS. the only time its generally fine to get a dupe over just S0 + T1 functor is if you just get lucky and get 2 copies of the character in a single muilti of if that character is a standard banner character since SS for them is free.
