Underwater video I filmed of redhead cichlids (Vieja melanurus) in the wild in South Florida. See this video in 4K resolution and medium to bright light setting on your computer for best results. To the best of my knowledge I am the first person on RUclips to post an underwater video of redhead cichlids in Florida. These fish are also known as quetzal cichlid, firehead cichlid, and other names. They are a popular aquarium fish since they are very colorful and beautiful. Redhead cichlids are one of the fish often breed to create flowerhorn cichlids, which is one of the most beautiful hybrid cichlids that people raise in aquariums.
Redhead cichlids are one of the lesser known and rarer cichlids that live in Florida. These fish are native to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and other Central American countries. You can also see largemouth bass, peacock bass, Mayan cichlids, spotted tilapia, Florida gar, coppernose bluegill, redear sunfish, and other fish in the video. I filmed more underwater videos that I hope to post in the next couple of months. My Wife made the artwork for the Thumbnail.
