I chose the Neverfull for my first LV & am so glad I did! But I am a shoulder bag kind of girl. I find it very versatile & great for travel. (Clearly since I now have 3) I really think it’s all about personal preference. I agree about the “hunt”, same here! Lol
Yes!!! The hunt is the best part!!! I almost feel bad after unboxing and wearing. The next week I am broke and have nothing that I am searching for.
My first LV was the Saumur 30. Today I got my classic Speedy 30 in DE. In love
Last year I became Gucci addicted and bought a Marmont Camera Bag, which I used a lot last year. However, last month I went to grab it and noticed some damage on the leather on the sides. I immediately took it to the store and they took it to have it repaired. Last week they call me to pick it up a new one, due to the fact that they couldn't fix it. I remembered your Pochette Metis story and was very satisfied with their service. It's goos to know that Gucci is offering a service as goos as LV (in some cases at least). I think that Gucci is going on a good direction. 🥰😘

I know most people choose between the Speedy and Neverfull when looking to buy their first LV bag. I was doing the same just a few weeks ago. However, once I went into the store, I needed up hating the way the Speedy B looked on me! I purchased the Turenne MM and loved it at first sight when I finally got it in my hands. I say to look at other ones as well

As always, I really enjoyed your video. Do you feel people in the luxury community get desensitized to prices for these goods? I remember when not that long ago, I had to think really hard if I wanted to spend $300 on a Coach bag. Now, it's like "Oh, it is less than $2000, they are practically giving it away".

MilaN hahaha I recognize that. In 2004-2007 I was almost afraid to pay $200 for a Guess bag and since then purchased alot of Chanel and a few Hermes bags which are ofcourse far above the 200. I think it's a combination of me being a student back then and having less spending options and also honestly through the years influence from celebrities/social media (instagram and youtube especially) where it almost seems "normal" to purchase and own such expensice designer bags. Where in reality it is not really normal as the salaries of most people has not increased that much. But I really feel social media has an enormous impact on the way we see things nowadays. I know for me it has influenced me (I'm honest about it) but I also realize now that I don't want to be too influenced anymore and want to be more at peace with what I have instead of continuously wanting more and more expensive items. Don't get me wrong ofcourse it doesn't hurt to purchase sth now and then 😉. But I just try to be more mindful and realistic towards myself.

A speedy b 30 will be my first brand new louis. There are amazing totes out there from every brand within every price range but you can't beat the classic luggage look of a speedy. Plus Audrey Hepburn carried speedy.
The Speedy is one of my faves...a true classic and it's so versatile...can dress up and dress down. Love it!
I don't match my wallet to my handbag. I have many more handbags in many more colors than small leather goods and prefer spending my money on the handbags. I also prefer to change my handbags daily and don't want to change my SLGs any more than necessary. I love that I can quickly transfer my SLGs from one handbag to another and jaunt off for the day. xoxo

Hi Minnie! The ultimate battle! As a self-proclaimed speedy queen it is hard to believe that my first LV bag was actually the neverfull! I Purchased it preowned And knew immediately that I wanted a speedy too! And now loads and loads of bags later those two bags in any print are my go to’s!
Love all your videos and always look forward to Minks Mondays! I thought about the "gimmes" and I realized that for me, when thinking about adding a new handbag to my collection, the research, contemplation, decision-making exercises (pro-con lists, etc.) and everything else leading up to the actual purchase is really like a hobby! So when I've bitten the bullet and made the purchase, the idea of looking into another new handbag is just a continuation of the hobby. If you are a crafter and you finish a project, the very next thing you do is start planning your next project, right? I'm honestly happy that I live hours away from purveyors of luxury goods because I consider the in-store experience a big part of the process, and the distance allows me to extend the "hobby" portion of the process without over-extending my wallet!
I am always looking to see what bags other women are carrying. Do you notice other's bags, and does it ever influence what you buy?

Years ago I interviewed a young lady who we were looking to employ as my assistant. I immediately clocked her LV Speedy 35 in Damien Ebene that she was carrying. Me being a LV addict we immediately clicked and I offered her the job almost immediately 😂 she was also very qualified for job but the fact that we shared the same love for LV definitely worked in her favour! I didn’t even bother to interview anybody else, she was the one 🙈

I have the azur croisette and I get sooooo many compliments on it every time I wear it. It’s my favorite LV so far!!! Highly recommend it. Has a ton of room for the size.

The original Vans shoe store was located on the corner of Walnut and Glassell near downtown Orange, CA. My mother used to make my dresses ... and you could go there and give then 1/4 yard of fabric and they would make you a pair of tennis shoes to match your outfit .. all for $1.75! They used to trace your foot and the shoes would fit you exactly right ... oh, those were the days!

I got my first lux bag, LV NF in DE last year & have loved it so much! I wanted a Speedy B next, but I’ve loved the NF so much I’m going for it in the Azure canvas with the pink interior!💕 Can’t wait.
Oh I had the exact dilemma!! What to buy as my first piece. I bought the Neverfull on my birthday last month but couldn't bring myself to use it because it was a shoulder carry and I'm a handsfree type of girl. Once I swapped it out for the speedy, I changed into it without hesitation ❣

Oh the Hunt! I know all about that. For years, and years. I think mine started when I was a manager of a dept store's fashion accessories dept. There are so many draws, and pinks, you know exactly what I'm saying I am sure. And we haven't even begun with the LV Monogram bags. I am still thinking there is one special one. I sold my last monogram bag to help pay for the summer move. Plus, don't need all this stuff anymore. Loved this! 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷💕
My first LV was a Siena MM, that I got a few weeks ago. I love it! But just like you said right after I got it I started looking for the next one, and I’m thinking the neverfull MM in DA.
Hi Minnie, great video! About the Graceful...I'd been searching the market for a spring/summer print handbag for the past year in white and it didn't even have to be from a luxury brand. BUT my hubby saw the Graceful MM in DA & pink lining and decided to purchase it for me. Now usually, I go for more of a structured handbag but I gotta tell ya, I really like this bag w/matching wallet. YES, I'm a matching SLG's girl! He did good but I'm searching for a purse organizer as we speak. Lol Have a wonderful blessed week lady🙏
I own the Speedy B 25 in Damier Ebene and it is perfect. I absolutely love it. I mainly use it on the weekends to run errands and it does not disappoint. I have a bag organizer which I recommend because it is very spacious and items can get lost in it. The strap was uncomfortable in the beginning but now it is all good. It stands up in the rain and I don't even stress it when it rains.

I couldn’t help laughing and totally agreed to what you said about hunting and the urge to buy another one. Last Friday, I finally got the Pochette Métis monogram after waiting for so long and now I’m hunting for the Ysl Lou camera bag which is sold out in Selfridges. I’ve already put my name on the waiting list for a black either in black hardware or gold hw. Then, I quite like the navy color too as most of my handbags are in black but not sure whether the navy maybe too blue for my liking. Sorry for my rambling on.....lol and love watching all your videos.

As far as interviews, I never take Monogram LV. I have take a Damier Ebene Speedy, an Antigona inspired dupe, and a TJMAXX bag. I also don't want people focusing on my bags or worse thinking I'm stuck up or super rich and thus not in need of the job.

My first Louis Vuitton was the Speedy B 35 in Demier Ebene and I used it as a travel and shoulder bag. Now I'm purchasing in a few weeks the Speedy B 25 in the same canvas and the Nerverfull GM in Monogram in Paris! Fabulous video as always!
Another great MMQA! I feel like we have some of the same thought processes about purchasing handbags!
I own 12 pre-owned LVs, so far I haven't bought a new one. My favourites would be any of my Speedys. I have a 30 in monogram, a 30 in DE, an epi red 35 and a epi orange 25. Now that I come to think of it I LOVE the Orange epi 25. It always makes me smile.
So can relate about the excitement on getting another bag.
My first was the Eva in DE and I still love it! Of the 2 here I have the Speedy B 30. I’m 5’5 also. I usually use it as a shoulder bag carry, not cross body. Strap adjusts nicely. The opening on the 30 is MUCH better than on the 25. Wrestling things in and out of the 25 would have bugged me too much. I actually went into the store intending to purchase the 25 but as I was trying the bag out and putting my stuff in and out of it I realized how much it would bug me. I hope they re-design so that they extend the zipper on that bag the same as they have on the Speedy 25 in the empriente leather.
As for the Neverfull - I love totes - they’re my favorite style bags BUT consider whether you’re ok with no zipper or any kind of top closure. I realized I’m not. It’s not so much that I worry about theft in my day to day life, but I worry about things spilling out all over the car etc. There are so many great totes out there to choose from.
Finally, some psychology behind “the hunt” for the next bag! You put it into words so well n I felt crazy haha because I recently got rid of my givenchy mini bc the shape and look wasn’t a good fit for me, and I was OBSESSED with finding its replacement aka a black leather satchel lol. No one else understands except this lovely luxe community 😆
I know what you mean about being afraid about losing out on the opportunity to own a great bag. When I decided to finally go for my Multicolore Blanc Speedy, there were only 3 or 4 available on Fashionphile and I literally just freaked! I thought, oh no! We're coming to the end of finding them! Lol! But, in the end I got one and am very satisfied with it. Now, on the topic of "the gimmies" I think sometimes it can be a matter of how you're using the next great bag. It may be for a completely different purpose than the one just purchased. For example, the Pochette Metis vs. a Neverfull. Completely different purposes for each. As far as body size/shape vs. bag size/shape...I have a completely different philosophy on that one. For me it's about how much drama do you want going on within your outfit. Do you want to juxtapose your look? Big coat and a tiny bag? Slender maxi dress and a Neverfull? Just depends on whether you want balance or drama. Great video as always. Yay for Vans! I tried on the LV Croisette in the Azur this weekend and LOVED it. That will be my next bag for sure, but the strap isn’t adjustable. I’m 5’1” and it was perfect on me but if you’re much taller, it may be too short to be worn crossbody.

I once unintentionally using my palm spring mini, 6 key rings holder, Helene wallet, toiletry15 altogether ( they are all in monogram print)at same time. When I opened my bag I feel dizzy 😵 and so overwhelmed. I was so afraid someone will see what’s in the my bag when I open it. so i tried not to be too matchy matchy ever since! 😂 thanks for another great video 💕
I always thought I wanted a speedy as my first bag and then fell in love with my Cousin’s Neverfull GM. I ended up getting the Neverfull in Monogram and honestly, I don’t get much use out of it. It’s a big bag, but I’m 5’10” as well and the size suits me more than the MM. Now I’m looking to get a Speedy B but I’m stuck between my favorite print, Monogram and the Ebene. Like you said, the Ebene is a bag you can wear without worrying about the weather, but man the Monogram is so classy. The struggle

When I began my collection, I also wanted to match the bag to the wallet but now I totally don’t do that anymore, in stead I want to have all different color ( especially pop up color) or different fashion house mixed. Awesome video ❤️

luxworld baby my husband says this to me too! When I was shopping for my NF I was so torn in the boutique. My heart said GM but my head said MM because I’m short and didn’t want to look crazy. He said “what makes your heart sing?” And at that moment I knew I wanted the GM ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ been rocking it nearly every day since!

I agree with your comments on the DE straps. I can only use my DE in the winter for the same reason. LV could definitely design a more comfortable strap for the DE bags.
Absolutely! Even my treated leather on my neonoe isn’t as bad as the DE Neverfull straps. Maybe the DE Neverfull straps need to be wider?
Agree! I’m 100% a tote girl, have all 3 NF’s & Speedy’s in all 3 prints, although the DE NF hurts my arm, & is also my rarely used NF mostly because I live in a very sunny & warm place & don’t get to use the DE NF as much & also the fact that it really digs into my arm & that limits my use because I can only use when I have a jacket or thick material top( which is almost never) in this hot climate!!♥️

I really get the constantly looking for the next bag. The research and the thrill of the chase is a major part of the fun of owning a luxury bag. I spent 3 years chasing an Oroton Odeion clutch in pink, just like the bright blue one that the Duchess of Cambridge, and I, have. The blue seems to be everywhere but the pink is as scarce as hen’s teeth. I stalked resale sites every morning and night for 3 years until finally one appeared and I got it. I love it to pieces and it’s the perfect summer holiday travelling clutch, but after I finally achieved the seemingly impossible I felt a bit of a hole in my life because I wasn’t focused on that intense hunt anymore. So believe me, I get it.
My wallets and card holders ALWAYS match the bag!!!
For an interview I will carry Damier Ebene print if the folder with my resume fits on it. Regarding preloved LV I got my Classic Speedy 30 in DE from a local shop a few years ago and I love it to pieces.

Especially, your opinion on bags option and the eye candy you have to show.😊 I have been eyeing the LV Palm Spring Backpack in the PM size. Ever since everyone been wearing the Mini size of the a Palm Spring like yourself. I think my Gucci super mini is something different. So I purchased that for a grab and go kind of thing. And I love it! My question is. I been eyeing the speedy in the 30, after a couple years from my first purchased of the Neverfull GM. But wasn’t a fan of holding it on the crook of my arms. Until the Bandoulier came out. But with both love of the Speedy Bandoulier 25 and the Palm Spring Backpack PM, I don’t know which one to choose from ? Help me lol. I know there a big size different. But with traveling, I felt like sometime the strap dig onto my shoulder after awhile it hurt. So I was thinking of the Palm. What you think ?
Hi Babe! I love the PSM for traveling, not too big, comfortable and carefree. The Speedy I think is a great travel bag as well, especially if you do a bit more of shopping and want to carry your souvenirs or if you're carrying a sweater and need to put it in your bag :) I would go for the one you see yourself using more! I used to do the same thing. Always buy matching wallet etc, but now I like mixing and matching different colors/prints.

I totally agree on you with the hunt! I've bought three bags this year, and I totally bought the third one because I thought I would never find it (it being the Lady Dior Medium Supple with grained calfskin and champagne gold hardware 😍).
Interviews are tough! Unfortunately in my collection I really don’t have any bags that are either designer or luxury. So I carry what I have to the interviews. I remember once I carried a Prada tote to an interview and it was pretty large. It was large enough to fit my padfolio a couple of folders and the rest of my personal items. And a gentleman who was walking into the building alongside me made a comment and said “wow that’s a pretty big expensive bag”. He made me so self-conscious that it threw me off for the rest of the interview
I have love hate relationship with Gucci Marmont. I hate the heart! Hate it! But I love the camera bag and wallet on Chain. Both just have the GG stitched in back. That looks more classic to me and the leather wears well.
MM question- would you buy a mini bag knowing it only fits the size of your current phone and not a phone that is bigger than your current one? I fell in love with a Chanel bag but I’m afraid that if I decide to go with a bigger phone in the future, I would have to give up the bag. It’s not a color that is easy to resell and I don’t want to buy a bag with that in mind. Thoughts? Thx!
I like all my small leather goods to match. I have two sets consisting of a wallet, cosmetic case, sunglass case, small leather pouch for incidentals and agenda/calendar, one in aqua and one in pink. I like the look of everything inside my bag matching although they don't match the bag itself. Currently I'm using the aqua set but will probably change to the pink for summer.
Question for you: what do you do with your bag when you go to weddings or a dinner party that you may have to leave your bag at the table for (i.e. sweet 16, retirement party, etc). I’m specifically thinking about going to dance! I am so paranoid about leaving my bag at the table, but I’m not going to take it out on the dance floor with me. Do you have any strategy for this kind of situation? I don’t want to not wear my bags on special days like this, but I also don’t want to fall victim to someone getting sticky fingers.
I'd 500% get the Speedy b over the Neverfull. My Neverfull is really useful, but I definitely don't feel it's really worth the money. It wears so badly on the corners and handles, whereas the speedy holds up really well, esp. in Damier Ebene.
I live in the Australian desert I wear my Damier ebene neverfull all year around . Most of the year it’s 40 degrees Celsius or 106 degree Fahrenheit. I just wear the print I love the most
I have a recall on one of my LV bags and now not sure what to get for replacement. Do you think the Clapton will hold it is resale value as good as the pochette meties? I am looking for something in the DE but nothing it getting my attention, what should I get please help
Hi Minnie! what are your thoughts in the 19S Iridescent blue/pink classic flap? Do you think the colors are easy to pair or will date? When I saw the iridescent in the boutique, i fell in love with the color but im not sure if im just being impulsive. Would you rather go for the impulse buys knowing that the colors are seasonal or stick with the classic colors first in your wishlist (e.g black, beige)?
Hi Babe! I just say it yesterday, absolutely gorgeous color! I do think it might be a little harder to pair because of the more prominent bluish undertone but maybe I'm crazy. It's definitely one of the best iridescent colors IMO :)
I used to match my slg’s to my bag, but trying to find a black slg in a black bag is not fun. Now I use slg’s to explore fun prints and colors!
I’m 5’8” and never carried my 25B because it sat too short on the longest setting Crossbody and it looked like I was carrying a toddlers bag. I ended up getting the 35B and even though the strap is the same length, because the bag is bigger it sits at the right length for Crossbody and looks proportionate to my frame. Even the 30 was too small. I thought it would look like luggage but it looks a normal sized bag on us taller gals.

My first lv was a speedy 30 damier azur. I knew right away I didn’t want to match my wallets in the lv brand. The second bag I purchased was a never full mm in damier ebene and purchase in my opinion a wallet that can go in any of my lv’s. I purchased a Sarah wallet in vernis in the amarante color. The rest is Louis Vuitton history. 😬
Hi minie! My first LV bag is a vintage speedy 25 in monogram which I rarely use because I didn’t like the orangey patina. My husband gifted me a speedy b 25 in DE last Valentine’s Day, hands down, I’m so In love with it. I’m thinking of selling my first LV bag, since I already have the SpeedyB, to add to my budget for neverfull mm. Do you think it’s worth it letting go of a vintage bag? I don’t want to regret it. Love your videos! I have both the Neverfull MM and the Speedy B 30, and although I love both bags, I agree with you, I would never let go of my Neverfull. I'm definitely a tote girl! I have them in all 3 prints, although I do end up using the DE print more often. What are your thoughts about the Furla 1927 shoulder bag S and the Furla small diva shoulder bag?
Oh my! I have so many preowned LV bags. Gotta say my neverfull gm in monogram and my turenne gm are my favorites. I still have them and I got great deals on both!

I purchased my 1st LV the monogram never full mm. I was a little disappointed in how it came in packaged. It was folded and so it has a crease. I stuffed it and hung it hoping to get rid of the crease and get its shape before using it, but for how expensive LV bags are i would hope they could come stuffed with air bubbles.
Hi, wondering what you think of the Flower Tote by LV? I like structure and organization and while I know the Neverfull is iconic I don’t see it as an everyday bag although the price is much better than the Flower Tote. As a tote girl do you think it’s a good buy. I really want to get it but it is pretty pricey.
