Secret service was aware of Thomas Crooks for at least 30 minutes before the incident. The secret service was supposed to be on high alert before the incident due to info that Iran was going to attempt an assassination. What went wrong?

I just can't watch this man. But I did find out one thing earlier tonight that gave me some comfort (since I can't change that it happened). As horrible as it is that Corey was killed at that rally bravely protecting his family ... and it is truly 100% tragic and awful ... but I did get some comfort in learning that he was a strong Christian and therefore is with God now. I hope not to receive any attacks on saying this because it wouldn't surprise me but I thought it might help some other believers also so I am passing it on. Plus I hope it would be a reminder to everyone not to put off accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior. A certain number of years is not guaranteed to anyone and I think that rings true in this day and age as never before. And to those who do not believe in God at all and reject this outright ... I am praying that you have a change of heart. There is an ETERNITY for all of us ... there are only two possibilities ... Heaven or Hell.
