The heart of being a hacker is to master your environment and make it work the way *you* want it to work, not allow it to make you work for it. That is part of why I dislike Windows, and why I enjoy Unix/Linux so much! Many times I have gone into an interview for a SysAdmin job, and I am asked which editor do you prefer, and they are usually expecting me to say vi or emacs....but I say "jstar", and and I get confused Bugs Bunny look from them...I have been using Word Star as my primary editor since CP/M days....yes, I know that dates me somewhat....but I think that the UI on Word Star is the best for touch typists, bar none. I'm not along in this...SF writers George R. R. Martin also still uses Word Star, as does Robert J. Sawyer. Now "jstar" is a mod of the full screen editor "Joe", which stand for in recursive fashion, Joes Own Editor. When invoked as "jstar" it emulates the Word Star command set. Further more, I modify the keymaping on any operating system I use so that the control key is beside the "a" key, where the Ghods of Computers meant it to be, before IBM corrupted the pristine layout of a computer keyboard. :-) This also gets me an extra point on the Orignal Hack Test on this question: 0416 Do other people have difficulty using your customized environment? Hmm, I know there's been research done on how to figure out someones passwords from the unique sounds of each key on the keyboard.... I wonder if the audio in the video gets edited to prevent that? Because that typing sure is audible.
I'm pretty sure that Nintendo case is 3D printed, I found it on Thingiverse awhile ago when looking for a case for my Raspberry Pi (there's a few different versions on there from what I've seen).

@Hak5 any tips as to why PuTTy will not find a Kali machine on the network by it's Host name? Only able to connect by ip address. This would be fine if static ip's were assigned, but dhcp is always around. Thanks.

I suppose tmux is more beefy in binary size and sys requirements (not sure) but if U ssh to some space and processing power constrained box screen is more to be expected there already coz it's olderm, I learned about tmux just recently.
What are the best practice for setting up different ssh key pairs for different servers? or would you use one pair for say 10 different host-servers Thanks for any help.

I got an upgraded router from my ISP a few weeks ago. By default, it had telnet enabled for remote access. Username and password were both "admin"...
Thats one shady move by the ISP.

one problem with mosh is the poor IPv6 support. Currently you have to explicitly choose IPv6 to use it, it won't automatically try.

I always use mosh at work! I think mosh works better than SSH connection.

They forgot to mention you need to install MOSH even on the server, only in this way you will be able to connect to the server via mosh
