Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival 2022

After a two-year break, the Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival has returned for its 40th anniversary. Rain fell at the Art and Wine Festival for the first time in its 40-year history. While Saturday was a beautiful late-summer day, the weather changed overnight and delivered rain on Sunday, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. We've been sponsoring this event for several years, and it's hands down my favorite event of the year.

Despite the fact that traffic was significantly lighter, there were still guests prepared to endure the elements to attend the festivities. The hosts continued to serve the guests wine and beer from a variety of taps, as well as different kinds of wine. Various performers performed live throughout the day, including folk music, Latin dance, and my personal favorite, the Spazmatics. Of course, there were many vendors and craftsmen displaying their innovative arts and crafts, and you could find just about anything for just about anyone. Even the children's area had stalls and games, including a 30-foot climbing wall.
This year, the beer garden returned, as did the televised Sunday football games. You could drink a great beer and eat whatever meal your favorite Santa Clara clubs and non-profits had to offer.
The Spazmatics, who perform the greatest hits from the 1980s and 1990s, finished up the event to an enthusiastic crowd. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend, and the weather didn't ruin it. I had a terrific day and met numerous Santa Clarans, many of whom expressed interest in my RUclips videos.
We'll be there, rain or shine, next year, and we hope to see you there as well.
