The FC9350 comes with 3 stage filters. Stage 1 sponge (washable). Stage 2 composite (washable). Stage 3 Hepa-type (non-washable) and Philips sell the replacement of the 3 stage filters in a single package.
Disclaimer: I have personally added on an extra layer of non-woven material in front of the sponge filter to prolong the life of the official filter. This is not something suggested or recommended by Philips and it's just a personal idea. Follow at your own decision and at your own risk. The author does not bear any responsibility any incident or unwanted outcomes of anyone following my idea of adding the extra non-woven material in front of the sponge.

Bravo for the review! Every weak point described in detail. I own it for 3 years and first problem happened at the container lock at the bottom of the container. I also noticed the handle problem after dropping it. It's not constructed to be treated in a heavy duty way. Once again bravo!

Nice review. I’d bought a used version of this for dirt (no pun intended) cheap and had it for 2 years. Never bothered to clean the filters (my bad I know). The motor just died and I’ve been racking my brain what to go for next. I’ve ordered the PowerPro Active 95…I’ll see when it arrives.

The reason I'm looking for the review is that the suction is not powerful enough. I've checked if anything is blocking the suction and have removed and cleaned the filter in the process. My children have switched to manual sweeping.
20:20 Not a problem! I've used this vacuum for over 4 years now, no problem carrying it around with the handle.
I bought a large size dog harness and I use it to carry the vacuum cleaner around (like a pet!) 😃.. and it's been working out great for me!

I bought the 9570 but after less than 2 years I find that the suvtiin power is not powerful anymore. Even when I put it on full power only the sound ia loud but not the suction power. Trying to figure out if I can solve it or should I take it to the service centre. A bit disappointed with the reliability for something quite pricey
Probably want to check with the service center, or maybe the filter is old and got clogged up? Did you try changing the filter?

Yes, it is, and it's fine. Because of the many layers of filters, the pump works hard to move the air.
what's your long term review ? is it still good ?
I am still using it well. It's good for me. In fact I bought a large dog harness and tied it around the vacuum to solve the problem of no handle from the top.

The non-woven material comes in a huge variety of options. Yours looks pretty thin. Is 40 grams per square meter good enough? The higher the weight, the thicker the material. Could you please specify the thickness?
