This man made me love martial arts till this day .Sadly one of the most underrated martial artist in the world . Really hope his projects get to be blockbusters
This man the probably the greatest driving-force behind my martial arts training. I first saw him when he was doing Sidekicks....he did a back-flip, breaking a board 3 feet above his head. When I started my training, I was 10. And when I saw this guy (only 2 years older than me) doing things I could only imagine, it pushed me even harder. I hope I can meet him one day. I would consider it a great honor....even today, he still shows us how he fights.
That guy used to be my martial arts instructor back in the day West coast taekwondo in San Jose such a trip and then he went on to do movies and stuff like his dad
I saw Side Kicks when when I was a boy, we're the same age. My dad knew Shotokan karate, but didn't have time for his kids, much more, me. I didn't learn anything though I really wanted to. I can only dream of training whenever I passed by a Karate Dojo. I got bullied a lot and just to avoid it I joined a youth gang in the neighborhood. Fast forward, when I was in my mid 40s, I trained BJJ and Kyokushin, and still idolized this guy, but I trained for self-defense and it came in handy when I got bullied again, this time as an adult, I GnP the thug, left him bloodied and almost taken by ambulance to the hospital, but still being a bully when he healed, luckily I no longer fear anyone due to Martial Arts, and I hope one day I can meet Ernie in person.
This dude here is my doppelganger for real ever since I found out about him in sidekicks... i showed my kids the movie rundown when he was fighting Dwayne, and my kids tripped out and said we really do look alike.... hope he's doing well!!!
He was my first crush when I was a little kid! I saw TMNT 2 so many times! I loved Ninja Turtles! But he was the real reason that I went to see the movie so many times! I hope that his health improves!
First I opened this video, I said oh he looks familiar,, then went through comments and read. Then gotcha.. Anyways every person is facing difficulties. It's hard sometimes and easy as well. Glad to hear you passed through it and that's a grateful things we can say to.
That's what I'm always wondering all the time but this hardly ever happens to people who abuse substances and let their weight get out of control. It makes no sense
@@brad9888 he’s a high performance machine. They break down, he looks pretty damn good for someone in kidney failure. Like he said..his lifestyle probably saved him from much worse. Similar to Bob Harper of Biggest Loser having heart attack. Doesn’t seem fair.
This....guy...was...the...SHIT, when I was growing up. A little kid kicking ass like a fuckin' SUPERHERO! Sad to hear about the kidney failure, glad he's doing well.
In the early 80's when I was like 4-5 years old, this dude was my idol. I had some VHS tapes with him doing karate beating up older guys and I wanted to be him so bad. I used to put a pair of underwear over my head and pretend I was a ninja.
First saw him as kid on a cop like show years ago before he got into movies and all. cool to know more about him and see if doing good and all. had to check and the show i first saw him in was Sidekicks. and then surf movie and ninija turtles.
I used to record 'Sidekicks' with the VCR every Friday night when I was 11. My favorite episode was when El Debarge made a special appearance and performed 'Thrill of a Chase', 👄 sync, ofcourse.
WTH? Where are his fans that are a match to help him get a kidney? This man should not be on dialysis nobody should but especially a man with so much fans. They could do a donor chain to find a match. If I was him I would go get surgery done in India, Russia, or Thailand. He has the money. Dialysis is no way to live for anybody. The longer you wait for a kidney the worst recovery you have and your kidney will not last long or function as well as if you had gotten the kidney right away and that is a fact. So sad. Sending good energy his way and wishing him all the best.
