Roots, Rocks, Stairs and Flights - Camping in Cloudland Canyon State Park

We had an amazing long weekend at Cloudland Canyon State Park in Georgia (right outside of Chattanooga, TN). We hiked the West Rim and Waterfall trails. We saw some incredible hang gliding and para gliding.
We also did a few touristy things - one being an afternoon at Rock City (which Mark had never visited).

We will be at Cloudland in a few days! The waterfalls hike looks brutal right now - it’s been so hot in TN. Those tree roots -ugh - one got me at Magnolia S.P. and I fractured my arm 😖 Loved all of the info you provided!

Luckily most of the hikes do provide lots of shade…but it IS super hot right now. Yikes! A fractured arm does not sound like a fun time.
