My favorite Zoro battles were against Mihawk, Mister 1, Ryuma, Killer, and King. All these confrontations pushed Zoro to another level. I can't wait for the Zoro-Mihawk rematch.
As amazing as those battles have been, I really would've liked to see Zoro go up against a genuine elite swordsman who took his craft seriously before he faces Mihawk. Last time he went up against anyone like that was with Kaku maybe? Would have led more credibility to his Swordmaster title imo.

Just some corrections, Enma is not a supreme grade blade. It can be once Zoro forges it into a black blade. Another correction is that Zoro is NOT a descendant of Kouzaburou, that’s Kuina’s grandpa. Zoro connects to Ryuma through his grandma Furiko who’s Ushimaru’s sister. We learned Ushimaru is a descendant of Ryuma in chapter 1023.
Shisui is destined to return to Zorro, Oda specifically stated that Zorro would wield 4 swords and Zorro is the descendants of Ryuma so it makes full sense and Shisui might be the key how black swords came to be and Shisui became a black sword before Yoru
Zoro needs a sword of his own, he's just been running around with hand me downs for years now lol, so he can turn a sword into a black blade through his effort alone
You did not mention that Mihawk's birthplace is "blanked" in the Vivrecard (probably because he was not born in any sea, but Mary Geoise). Also he uses the same term against Zoro while fighting him on baratie with the small sword that the Tenryubitos used on God Valley. "Rabbit". He is 100% a Tenryubito.
@@erinwalker_tv It's possible because of the timeline. Shanks is listed as being born on West Blue which obviously mean God Valley since he was 1 year old at the time. But Mihawk is older so he's not from there hence, was not necessary to leave his birthplace blank. So I'd say Mary Geoise is the best guess
You know what i hate the most about Mihawk? That he was introduced (almost like Dragon) at the goddamn beginning of the story (1100+ chapters ago) and to this day Oda did basically NOTHING with his character. It's supposed to be Zoro final goal, and we know absolutely NOTHING about this guy. If Oda decides to just put him against Zoro at the end without showing anything before hand, then sorry if i say that Mihawk was a failure of a character, and Oda was unable to write him at all. Just for the fact alone that to this day after 1100+ chapters the final goal of Zoro did not receive a decent development it's concerning imho.
What’s there to develop, honestly? Zoro has a one track mind, becoming the greatest swordsman in the world which he’s well on his way in achieving. The only thing Oda could possibly do is expand on what triggered Zoro’s obsession. He’s doing it partly for Kuina obviously, but what motivated him before they met? Is he somewhat aware of his legacy? Did he lose his parents that he couldn’t protect? That’s the biggest mystery to me. As far as Mihawk goes, the guy is at the absolute top. He’s complacent, bored and the only thing that excites himbut the prospect of fighting Zoro. What else do we need to know? You can’t develop him further until he at least meets his equal. That doesn’t make him a failed character. Kinda like Frieza in Dragonball. He was the strongest in the universe until Goku showed up. I don’t think he’s a poorly written character. On the contrary, he’s perfectly written for his role in the story. Same with Mihawk. Also, his story is honestly not important to the overall story, he’s not an active participant. Or at least, he wasn’t until Cross-Guild came into existence, so if there’s gonna be any character development for Mihawk, now is the best time. Or his fight against Zoro could give more insight in his character. But outside of those two situations, what reason do we have to know about his character?
Zorro will become a sword god before dealing with mihawk probably. That requires making enma and the wado black blades and probably agreeing to marry into the kozuki to get shisui back. This is because we are lead to beliece the gorosei swordsman has the first kitetsu. Since he took special note of zorro's kitetsu blade. That will probably get broken. Imu is themed off a umibozu but also off nammu and tiamat. Tiamat being a 5 headed dragon and Nammu being a god of creation coming from the sea. The gorosei call imu the creator god which is a nammu thing so imu is probably a corrupted nammu --> umibozu demon and the Tiamat theme is because nammu and tiamat are within the same pantheon. The 5 headed dragon is probably to theme the gorosei being the 5 heads. This means the only TRUE dragon would be the gorosei as a whole. By destroying that he would probably gain his title. There is major christian themes but sumerian is the oldest civiliazion / religion in history.
Sure we know nothing about who Mihawk really is but you can't say that Oda has done and is currently doing nothing with his character. He fought in Marineford, trained Zoro during the time skip, got ousted as a warlord; and together with Crocodile took over Buggy's crew turning it into Cross Guild. The beginning of Mihawk's story was slow mainly to show his complacency at the top. The closest thing he had to a rival in Shanks lost an arm thus making Mihawk rival-less. Eventually in that complacency he becomes a Warlord and while on a bounty collection of the World Government, he runs into Zoro and sees a shaking amount of potential in him.
yeah a strong swordmans have different aura like more hellish or demonic or dark cold theme. even when they don't use conqueror haki like Luffy or Shanks but they presence already intimated and scary.

actually I thought of something, let's just imagine that if Doflamingo was expelled from heaven and Mihawk was the opposite, he chose to come down to earth and go around looking for answers. he saw a lot of war and made himself obsessed and killed everyone until he met the "person" who interested him, namely a samurai, Zoro's father. but their relationship did not improve in the end because there was a "betrayal". What I believe is that Mihawk's demonic nature which came from the Celestial Dragon was "reduced" because of Zoro's father. and what if this "betrayal" is actually a good thing aimed at Mihawk but Mihawk doesn't understand it? like Zoro's father's sacrifice for Mihawk

This isn’t related to Zoro but I’m curious your thoughts on Kid because I have a huge theory myself. In my opinion the smile fruit actually had a hidden effect which turns its users to fish-men hybrids . But being in wano nobody could test it out so all they can do is laugh. But since killer is now in a situation where he needs to save someone and can swim and fast now, he springs into action and carries kid to safety. And the plot twist coming when Kid wakes up and has his own consciousness with Stella’s memories.Hence why the 07 was on his rail gun during the destruction of the Kid pirates. The 6th vegapunk betrayed the other vegapunks, confirming the worst emotion to be greed not evil. And when Kid wakes up it will be just in time for the Ragnarok festival that will take place on Elbalf!

No need for excessive training. Luffy took out kaido with two years training. And Zoro only started struggling with king. But after the advanced CoC upgrade, it was smooth sailing. Lucci was immobilized in one on-screen hit.
5 years is crazy. The whole One piece story has only been 2 years and Zoro grew from a weak little frog to a worthy opponent capable of beating dragons

Kuina is reaper that zoro battles when he is at the edge of death. Her limit was being born a girl and in death her body no longer limits her. For both their dreams to come true zoro must first be the strongest in the living world, then he can face her in the afterlife for the title.

What if zoro is ryuma from time travel from the present after one piece ends? And loses some of his memories like toki? Or after becoming the top swordsman does what ryuma does in monsters. Stays lowkey and doesn't want the title as the greatest swordsman? Which is why he acts like Luffy and himself combined after going through so many adventures with him. And is more of reason he defends wano from the world government in the past after time travel? And what if his looks get altered too? From some type of time travel side effect?

Hear me out: From the cover stories, Enel now knows quite a lot of things that no one else on the OP world knows about. Enel, upon return, could be the first awakened Logia we see. Why? Because DF awakenings correlate with how much you are in tune with your DF. For Zoans it's easier (since they're literally seeking out their users). For Paramecia it's hard. For Logia, we have never seen it. But with his god complex and already amazing mastery of his fruit before the time skip (such as his Mantra), Enel is the only Logia user I can think of that is totally in tune with his DF. He could even have learned things like Armament Haki on the Moon since he fought with the space pirates. And even more importantly, Enel is the definition of someone who would have Conqueror's Haki. We have never seen Logia users imbue Haki into their elements. We have seen Smoker use it on his body, even a fired off fist. But never on their element. That could be what the awakening grants. And Enel with QH, being able to imbue that into his lightning strikes, would make him an insanely formidable opponent.
if Mihawk is Tenryubito then he is a King, a Dragon, and a God who Zoro must defeat. in one piece world Mihawk is the "king" who Ryuma searcing for, but now Zoro is the one who carry his will. this is why became PK and WSS is the ultimate dream and so hard to achive because this is not just about strenght, but a FATE have a role play. Luffy and Zoro fate's is to fullfil the WILL.
Mihawk is the King of Hell and the Hell of a Swordsman is to be the worlds strongest because it means there is no challenge.. Mihawk might even have been the best in the holy land but instead of becoming one of the gods knights he decided to leave the holy land and sail the sea in order to look for a challenge and therefore got banished by the celestial dragons.. we can see that Mihawk has high authority: the marines were surprised with him showing up at the marineford war in a way that suggests that they wouldnt even have done anything if he didnt.. also the gods knights seemingly have to wait for stuff to get really out of the governments hand before they get send out to fight.. cant imagine this being Mihawks vibe.. so yeah crazy that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks Also I would love for the Seraphim to become allies (Bonney has highest authority and basically is the new crew-member) and then Zoro having a training arc with S-Hawk since he is still very young and would not really have a fitting mentor in the world of One Piece with Zoro and Mihawk being dead.. S-Hawks era would start after Zoro's death
What if either A) Mihawk is Cyrano and after being defeated by Ryuuma, quit being a celestiao dragon and spent his time to become a a true sword god to give Ryuuma a real challenge, now being dejected with his life and immortality because Ryuuma died before he could give him a true challenge. B) Mihawk is a descendent of Cyrano and wanted to show the world the true power his family lineage is capable of, similar to how we will find Usopp redeems Nolan the liars reputation.

Luffy gives Shanks the OP & straw hat, while taking the title of King of the Pirates, completing both their main goals while remaining bonded as brothers. Koby becomes the new main Marine, bringing about a reform in the Marine forces overall, thus completing his goal. Maybe CrossGuild helps them all in the final battle or serve as the step before the final step, giving Zoro/Mihawk their long awaited duel. Crocodile & Buggy make it to LaughTale tho cause I mean its Buggy & also Shanks & him need to complete their original journey from Roger days. Crocodile just kinda there but he's been around forever & I can see him being useful later, plus no real goal outside of pirate king so just let him sneak some people😂
I want the rematch between Mihawk and Zoro to be like their first encounter. Both could use knives to fight each other or just Zoro. I get a weird feeling that Zoro may have already surpassed Mihawk and has the title.... When was the last time Zoro mentioned becoming the greatest swordsmen, maybe he already is and has moved on to the King of Hell goal. Post time skip, he isn't training anymore.. it may happen off-screen, and oda is focused on the main story art. I do not think mihawk is going to die tbh. I think zorro will become a sword god by making the wado and enma black blades and in tthe final battle be given shisui with the promise of marrying into the kozuki family. Shisui probably wont show its full power to anyone les then a sword god. Shisui will probably come when the gorosei swordsman breaks the kitetsu.
Zoro isn't going to fight mihawk again guys, get over it. Best we'll get is something happens to mihawk and zoro takes up his fight or will in his honor. By something, I don't mean death but something that renders mihawk incapable of fighting with the sharp steels for a period of time or indefinitely.

No need for excessive training. Luffy took out kaido with two years training. And Zoro only started struggling with king. But after the advanced CoC upgrade, it was smooth sailing. Lucci was immobilized in one on-screen hit.

From the cover stories, Enel now knows quite a lot of things that no one else on the OP world knows about.
Enel, upon return, could be the first awakened Logia we see. Why?
Because DF awakenings correlate with how much you are in tune with your DF.
For Zoans it's easier (since they're literally seeking out their users).
For Paramecia it's hard.
For Logia, we have never seen it.
But with his god complex and already amazing mastery of his fruit before the time skip (such as his Mantra), Enel is the only Logia user I can think of that is totally in tune with his DF.
He could even have learned things like Armament Haki on the Moon since he fought with the space pirates. And even more importantly, Enel is the definition of someone who would have Conqueror's Haki. We have never seen Logia users imbue Haki into their elements. We have seen Smoker use it on his body, even a fired off fist. But never on their element. That could be what the awakening grants.
And Enel with QH, being able to imbue that into his lightning strikes, would make him an insanely formidable opponent.

Mihawk is the King of Hell and the Hell of a Swordsman is to be the worlds strongest because it means there is no challenge.. Zoro does not know it yet but it will eventually be his Hell to and he will be the King of Hell alongside his Pirate King..
Mihawk might even have been the best in the holy land but instead of becoming one of the gods knights he decided to leave the holy land and sail the sea in order to look for a challenge and therefore got banished by the celestial dragons.. we can see that Mihawk has high authority: the marines were surprised with him showing up at the marineford war in a way that suggests that they wouldnt even have done anything if he didnt.. also the gods knights seemingly have to wait for stuff to get really out of the governments hand before they get send out to fight.. cant imagine this being Mihawks vibe..
so yeah crazy that Mihawk is stronger than Shanks

A) Mihawk is Cyrano and after being defeated by Ryuuma, quit being a celestiao dragon and spent his time to become a a true sword god to give Ryuuma a real challenge, now being dejected with his life and immortality because Ryuuma died before he could give him a true challenge.

Luffy gives Shanks the OP & straw hat, while taking the title of King of the Pirates, completing both their main goals while remaining bonded as brothers. Koby becomes the new main Marine, bringing about a reform in the Marine forces overall, thus completing his goal. Maybe CrossGuild helps them all in the final battle or serve as the step before the final step, giving Zoro/Mihawk their long awaited duel. Crocodile & Buggy make it to LaughTale tho cause I mean its Buggy & also Shanks & him need to complete their original journey from Roger days. Crocodile just kinda there but he's been around forever & I can see him being useful later, plus no real goal outside of pirate king so just let him sneak some people😂

Post time skip, he isn't training anymore.. it may happen off-screen, and oda is focused on the main story art.
