What you can do is not get a fully new bed but get a new head board so you can get one that is still plan but is taller so it takes up more room on your walls. Then you can get more led lights and put it on the back

Totally worth it!! So much storage with the drawers & the simple headboard is so chic (in my opinion) it was fairly easy to put together & only took my dad & I 2-3 hours max. You just put a few screws & dowels in the headboard,footboard, and sideboards and then piece them together. Then the metal support beams in the inside. It gets a little tricky with these metal things that go across but other than that , not too bad! I love mine & would say it’s totally worth it! If you don’t get the drawers, I think it’s under $200 :) (however the drawers are prob my fav part)

You need to learn the Marie Kondo way of folding the clothes in the drawers. So the malm furniture tops don’t get messed up, buy the glass tops from IKEA.
I have the same nightstands and was looking at getting the bed with drawers for hoodies as well! But is it a problem with the nightstands? Im holding back because I feel like the front drawers won’t be able to open.

I love a modern vibe so I think that would look cute - I also love pastels so I think you could def do both !! (Like the comment above said) but if you’re having trouble deciding what you like, you should go on Pinterest & look at a bunch of diff room decor styles and see what you like most! That’s what I did to find my style! Also watching YT vids & seeing what you like most ☺️💓 hope that helps!! Maybe even looking at the ikea website or another furniture website & seeing what style you like best!
