Actually, it was shot from the parking lot in front of the main terminal. It was just a surface lot back then, before they started putting in parking ramps.
@@JJ_Skippy Give a watch to the 1970 movie "Airport". It was filmed at MSP. Neat seeing Dean Martin and Burt Lancaster walk thru familiar yet remodeled spaces!
Thank you so much for posting this. Some of the best days of my life…wonderful memories.
Wow! Northwest Orient and Republic! THAT brings back memories! Thank you this is so cool!
Thanks for posting this, the NWO DC-10 was nicely shot...I was hoping to see a 747 shot the same way...hope you have more!
Air Malta 707 at MSP. They must have taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque. Maybe a VIP transport to the Mayo Clinic.
Good

Great video clips!! Do you possibly have any that you shot at Minneapolis showing any Ozark Air Lines aircraft??
Sorry, I do not. Wish I did! This is all the Super 8 footage I have of MSP (or any airport) from the 70s.
@@mjbvideo Ahhh, ok.
Great video! Would it be possible to use this in a project I’m working on?
Sure, go right ahead!
Nice video. Was it shot from what is now Cargo Road?

Oh nice. It looked a bit identical to Cargo Road. Wish I could see what MSP was like throughout the years.
