This looks very cool, BUT I checked out comments on their Rubik's Cube kickstarter and numerous people said it couldn't charge anymore and were told their warranty had expired. So IMO it's best to hold off and see how it holds up.
This genuinely looks incredible and a strong rival to the Square Off boards with self-moving pieces. When you spoke with the Go Chess team did they say they would be sending in a set for you to unbox and demo live on your RUclips channel? How did you get in contact with them? I think what the company really needs is to send out some boards to RUclips channels to be reviewed to increase buyer confidence. Especially with some very big disappointments in the self-moving chess set industry, Go Chess has the chance to prove itself in a very big way.

I just recieved my square off neo board. It was delayed 4 years and arrived broken. Lol. I'd be very wary of this i'd assume its junk until proven otherwise. Suprised EPIC chess is promoting. He seems like a good guy.

Review based on an ad? But risky to push hard for an unreleased product. So many products with a fancy vid have turned out to be crap. Love to be wrong about this one though
Unfortunately there are no 4x anymore (the board that can move 4 pieces simultaneously), unless you order 2 boards, but then 1 will have the classical pieces set and the other the "modern" weird set.
With all these electronic boards i often wonder what happends when I play online and im given black. Spinning the board around alwase seams a little clumsy!
