Another alternative solution for fluid change/drain is: remove the rear brake pads, bleed the entire fluid by pressing the brake lever. Let the piston come out. Once completely drained, fill in fresh fluid. The fluid will travel till the entire distance of the brake lines. You can now gently push the piston inside with the screw driver (use a coth for cushioning). The piston will still retract as the pressure is high. Remove the air by opening the bleeding valve. The piston should only come out when the brake lever is pressed. Repeat the above step again and again untill the piston is stationary. Then you can put the brake pads. I've tried it and the brakes work really good. This technique was used by the service center guy

You can never have a more powerful rear brake compared to front brakes, and honestly why would you want to have a powerful rear brake? In motorcycles the front brake provides upto 90% of stoppage as the the weight of the rider and motorcycle leans to the front providing not only better stopping power but increased amount of grip hence the motorcycle stops more effectively. If you are riding on a paved roads, with ABS ON your front brake will provide you with all the stopping power you need. You have to understand physics of braking, as I said earlier because of shifting of weight to the front when you are braking, the rear tire have less weight hence provides little grip. Even if you have a pillion riding with you the weight shift will still take place. You have to look at the rear brake as a supplementary brake that you use in addition with the front to provide more stoppage and at times emergency braking. It seems to me a lot of Indian riders are weary of using front brake, its nothing to be scared of. When on a paved road you have to use two fingers to pull the brake lever as it provides optimum control. If you are riding off road, first your ABS must be turned off and even now you have to use your front brake with your rear. The only difference is that use index finger to pull the brake that way chances of lockout are very low thus providing you with optimum control. So my advise would be to work on your front brake control, that will be more fruitful than this . Just look at the Brake rotor sizes, there is a reason why front rotor is large compared to rear and why higher CC bikes with more HP have dual front rotors. Hope it helps.
Bro rear brake is also compulsary because when you have a pillion with u , if u apply only front brake pillion will slip towards front and is both discomfort for the pillion as well as rider, if u have a nice rear brake , u can use both front and rear brake and avoid that discomfort situation, try understanding things
@@rishabh325 And why do you think the pillion moves forward? I would ask you to read my comment again, I know its long but I did explain why front brake has more stoppage compared to rear. If you have a pillion the rear brake is incapable of providing sufficient stoppage unless used in combination with front brakes. Rear brakes for most sub 600 CC are pretty trash, be it Dominar, Duke, Kawasaki Ninja 400 or Honda cb500, pretty much all of them have very anemic rear brakes. Relying only on rear is a recipe for disaster.
@@sa4555 brother you just don't want to understand the point u r just trying to impose your point. If u have your sister as a pillion if you only apply front brakes , it is going to be very uncomfortable for her and you too. Nobody is a fool to totally rely on rear brake, but yes rear brakes do matter. Here people are talking about bad bite of dominar not any other heavy cc bike. I know rear brakes are not that good on any bike as compared to front but you cannot deny the fact a bike with good rear brake is a bonus.
