My Companion Lathes (wood & metal)

In this video, I show you 2 of my vintage lathes. Both are branded Companion, which was the less expensive version of Craftsman sold by Sears. The wood lathe I have owned since a boy. The metal lathe I acquired about 10 years ago as a “period correct” partner for my wood lathe. I believe both lathes are the smallest versions they made at the time.
