I really hope they will balance pounce a little more. Make the bites while pounced deal less damage to counter how safe you are while latched on. Plus larger dinos should have an easier time shaking off raptors and compys. This means more raptors are needed to take down larger dinos. I would like to see some reasonable cooldown on pounce too. Right now, the pounce spam is ridiculous. Pounce is just an OP mess. As I have predicted it will be.
Yea the buff to bucking isnt gonna do much to the dinos that have bleed and can pounce which will be only mod dinos in the next update. Compy now pretty much does what raptors do right now but not as fast, bleed and pounce is not a healthy combination xD
I got jumpscared by a compy pouncing a rex today, i just saw it jump on em like a parasite and i said " LORD MIGHTY STRUTHIOMIMUS WHAT KIND OF PSYCO ADDED POUNCE TO THAT GREEN PEST??"
Certainly suprised me to see for sure 😂 Now compy packs can actually be quite a threat, every time i got low on my stego i was finished off by compies 😂

Honestly, I dont blame them. Right now, 90% of dinos are defenseless against pounce due to how OP it is. There is nothing fun in being spam pounced to oblivion. This comes from a player that rarely plays apex.

The owner has done some very questionable things in the past like setting up donation roles that violate ToS, also letting his underage son be an admin when ToS say you have to be 13 to make an account. He also makes random decisions without listening to his team and will personally remove chat messages or players if he doesn't agree with what they said. Just a heads up.

Imagine if the compy pounce wasn't an attack? Picture some compys riding a trike like a Oxpeckers picking ticks off of a Cape Buffalo. That would be an interesting mechanic. Dinos had ticks and fleas and all that crap, so it would be cool to have something tiny that eats ticks from the bigger dinos.
@@hunyadacrazy It would be awesome to see that as mutually positive. Like being pestered by itchy bugs and little guys could clean them off. Rolling in the mud might be a way to get them off of yourself, but big things can't do that easily. XD A flock of compies riding a rex. The care bear players would love that.

I was on Juniper I think maybe after you left and I was playing Sty and I randomly started taking damage, the second I saw what it was I happily took a Deino bath and instantly swapped to the green menace. Genuinely hilarious and stupid that someone thought it was a good idea to give Compy pounce, I wanna shake their hand. After I got board from partaking in the hoard I hopped on Theri and tested out Claw Barrage. At level 5 I think I either 2 shot or out right 1 shot a pycno with a head shot but dont quote me on that. Then a Carchar tried to tail ride me, too bad Theri has a god tier turn in place now with Lone Survivor and I just went ham
Yea i noticed alot of people trying out theri, i've heard off some people that the claw barrage goes up to 110 damage at max stack (normal attack is 80 damage) will certainly have to try it myself xD
4 shots itself on kentro, 3 shots itself on pycno, 2 shots itself on amarga and theri, it cant hit cera while pounced right now but i would think it's also a 4 shot like kentro
Sorry for the late reply mate xD The parasaur ended up getting the berserker sense which they do more damage when low health and a debuffing call, similar to metri but instead of it debuffing damage, it debuffs their attack speed :) Also can now be pounced by raptors :)

I will say normal claw is better for smaller faster stuff cause they can just wait out your Claw Barrage buff
