Obligation

  • After extending an invitation to His followers to come to Him to find rest, Jesus commanded them, “Take my yoke upon you,” promising them that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Examining the responsibility inherent in Jesus’ call, Alistair Begg underscores that this obligation is a call to live in actual freedom. Such freedom is not the illusory kind that the world offers, with no apparent rules or boundaries, but the true liberty found in Christ alone.
    Scripture: Matthew 11:29

Jesus died to make us free from the law condemnation ,He kept all 10 commandments for us because we fail to do so. We still do, we deserve death, but repenting and changing and obeying His 10 commandments for our good and the good of our neighbors, we we are covered with Jesus righteousness to be pardoned, because our righteousness’s will never do ,they are like filthy rags. If we have Jesus covering we have peace, freedom and the kingdom of God.!🤗👍👏🏼🥰✝️😇🌺❤️🇺🇸

When you accept, what has already happened and trust our Lord's best for us in any future happening and follow His precepts, there is true freedom

We are free of the penalty of death because Jesus took it upon Himself for us, we do because we are saved by Jesus not to be saved, we do for His glory and honor and love for His creation.

Dear pastor, I truly enjoy your comments and understanding on GOD'S Word- the Holy Bible. I find in my life that God leads me to the truth with the more time I spend reading it !!! If I do not understand something, I pray for spiritual wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit . Opinions of man mean nothing to me honestly, All my answers in this life are in the Bible !!! History of what Rome , Westminster , or dead people thought about things seems foolish. Man's wisdom is foolishness to GOD , I guess all I really need is JESUS who said Learn from me !!! ❤

Having the Lord under the common yoke makes the work, burden much easier, as He's in there with you. being unequally yoked with an unbeliever, is a worse state than being under your own yoke by your self. Two cannot walk, or work together unless they agree on the object they are working, walking for.

Was that 1979 speech discussion before or after the 1979 revolution in Iran? Just wondering if that dynamic was on his mind…

Then why we all disobey so easily God? Why do most churches and pastors teach and keep Sunday when God and Jesus commanded to keep Saturday, the Sabbath, the day of the 4th commandment ,and the creation day of His rest for Himself and us?God didn’t change His commandments, we did and do. Let’s repent and follow Him and His written commandments!Saturday is the rest day, is the day to worship God, and His creatures and creation.✝️❤️👍🤗🥰🇺🇸

The Sabbath was made for man. Not man for the Sabbath. Didn't Paul say that the day doesn't matter. I Worship with fellow believers on the day that commemorates Christ's resurrection. The Bible refers to it as "The Lords' day." Don't put unnecessary yolks on people's shoulders!

On what day would you have priests, pastors, Sunday school teachers pianists, choir members, & worship leaders to set aside for the their sabbath? The Bible deals with this issue in both old and new testaments. You're just going to have to dig deeper and search harder for answers

@@judith7661 she’s probably SDA and doesn’t realize Paul as well as Jesus were born of the Chosen. We, as memvers grafted on are not commanded to follow the Torah law. We rest 7 days a week. He finished the law

Some of these comments on here show me that some of you have not even listened to this video or read your Bible You're just running your mouth. Copycating what your pastors teach instead of what the Bible teaches.
