I love the people from Grand gedeh they are loving .kind.and welcoming.
Hi Lauretta, Thank you for this job, I am an Ivorian, Ivorians and Liberians are brothers. Liberians are welcome in Ivory Coast. God bless Liberia.
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
I'm proud of you sister. Sending love from Kenya💗, keep showing us more of Liberia💯
Wow!
This is amazing 😍
WOW!!! This is so interesting, it is like we share common culture in Africa. The mud and thatch houses, the presentation of kola nuts to visitors. In Nigeria we believe that 'he who brings kola nut brings life' Great job there Lauretta.
I am really impressed with this presentation - every aspect of it. It has class, it has professionalism and shows dedication. Thank you.
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
God bless for that province to receive massive infrustracture development.
I remember visiting Charlie Gowein Town and meeting the founder of the town , “ Old Man “ Charlie Gowein “ who was very old back then .
Thanks you very much. I am ivorian. Thanks to you video i knew my origins in liberia because me paternal Grandmaster IS Tuzon precisely segninon. Her NAME is segninon marie

Thanks for this video decumentary, at least Tuzohn people will be remembered
I lived and worked in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County as an Agricultural Economist during 1984-86 . I visited Tuzohn a few times and once had a good chat with the mother of the then President Samuel Doe . Is there a video about life in Zwedru today ? It was a great experience but it is all such a long time ago - nearly 40 years -and Liberia has been through so much . i used to drive or be driven from Zwedru through Nimba and Bong Counties to get to Monrovia and back .
Thats very interesting thats my grandmother. What did you guys talk about if you dont mind me asking lol
Okay. Wow. Thank you. It is good to see my Father’s home area.
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Thanks for the update I'm watching from Sinoe
Same thing, features, houses and sceneries with my village in Nigeria like in the early seventies. Wherever we Africans originated from , it's only true that we would have been one village or family centuries ago, just one and the same people. East, West North south of Africa
You are doing well keep up
🇱🇷🇱🇷
Gréat job. Grateful for what you both are doing!!
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Think you so much for this video presenting Tuzon.
Great work dator
Pruh! Pre happy birthday 🥰
As someone from Tanzania what usually surprise me is how they can install street lights without a tarmacked road. Here in Tanzania street lights are installed after the road have been built, there is no way you can find a place without tarmacked road having street lights like this!
Hello. Président doe's mother is still alive? Or what happening to her?
@@ibrahimanono3531 clarify! Mama Samia is okay and well!!
Great job on this video. May God be with you and give you strength 🙏🏾👏🏾

African culture it’s all the same . We should be unite and respect each other
The young is coming to make change
I love your videos sister, I been following you for the past 7 months.
Thanks for the good work
He came and left only memory of brutal war, death and desolation. That same negative energy and resources would have been channelled positively to transform his hometown to Venice or Rome of Liberia😢.
It's shocking how we got such mud and thatched houses in Africa in 21st century.
This must change now it's exposed.
Take your politics riddle with lies from under this lady's video. You expect a president to transform his village into Venice when you don't have basic social services for the larger population, how so?
@@meaglenimely His home is in ruins.
@@meaglenimely You ended up not providing any alternative fact. Do you know the financial cost of the avoidable war and misgovernance that he superintendented? We must learn a lesson.
Is it Doe that brought war?
Do ur research from and stop the lies.
Thanks for the video👍
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Awesome!
Great video 🎉🎉🎉🎉
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Wow
Great 🎉
Thank you for the update on Tuzon, but you did not go to so many areas for us to see. For example ,Doe's house, School campus etc.
As I said in the video, the elders refused to let us see Doe's house before I'll talk about the school. It was very frustrating.
🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷❤️
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
I would like to know more about the thatches used for roofing the mud houses because they look like those used in the southeastern part of Nigeria. Are they made from palm fronds. Also, what's the history of kola nuts being presented to welcome visitors? Is it an original practice or a borrowed culture as it is also a culture of the igbo people of southeastern Nigeria
The kola nuts is a original culture in some county's in Liberia
It's use to welcome visitors
The Thatches you are seeing are original palm Thatches from the palm tree
They used it to roof the mud houses as you are seeing
You’re doing excellent!!
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Welcome to my home town
🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
Keep up the good work 👍
Late President Samuel Kanyon Doe lost his life to the Prince Yormie Johnson rebel faction.
Late Master Sergeant Samuel Doe, was the then President of Liberia during the Liberia civil war started by Mr Taylor.
He made an ill-fated visit to Ecomog headquarters only to be captured by the Pribce Yormie Johnson faction.
He was shot in the leg and taken to the rebel camp of Prince Yormie Johnson were he was tortured to death.
Unfortunately, President Samuel Doe did not even develop his village of birth despite holding presidential power for decades in Liberia before his unfortunate death.
Doe was a strong and brave man. No other leader would go stand in front of the warfront
Thanks for this program, but to correct you, the late president, Doe, served from 1980-1990.
The late president, Doe, didn't serve from 1986.
To further correct you, he officially served as the president of Liberia from 1986 to 1990. In 1980, Doe was just officially known as the chairman of The PRC.
@@LaurettaBiraneCisse semantics, bottom line is, he was the head man in charge.
My sister stop being difficult...Doe was the Liberian Leader from 1980 to 1990...the gentleman is right.
@@dembabah7149 Relax, and stop telling me not to be difficult. This is a simple back-and-forth, and there is nothing “difficult” Happening here. Was Doe officially a president of Liberia in 1980? The key word here is “officially.” I'm not discussing when he overthrew President Tolbert in 1980. My research is based on the election that made him a legitimate president of the Republic of Liberia in local and international settings. There is nothing wrong with you considering him a president from 1980, but don't come here calling me difficult as if I'm wrong.🙌🏿
Great job👍
I'm noticing they have street lights and solar electricity there 👍
Yes, they do.
Do we have street lights all over Liberia
@@MatthiaMohamed no
Is true that one side of the town had electricity his quarter and other was not electrified.
Which were known civilized and Dark Quarter?
For those of you who are complaining of him not building his village, he didn't becomes president to enrich himself . And to respond to the beauty young lady of this video, President Doe came into power 1980 and not 1986 mama.
He officially became the president of Liberia in 1986. Do the research😊
U said Samuel Doe served from 86 to 90.I thought it was 80 to 90
Yes Doe became a duly elected president from 1986 -1990 .
The coup was 1980 but he was not an elected president. He served as president from 1986-1990 .
@@berlindickson8533 Thanks for the clarification. We are learning
He was a brutal sadistic killer and you people try to make him look like some great leader
I enjoy you traveling throughout the counties of Liberia. How many have you been to so far?
12
@@LaurettaBiraneCisse Three more to go!
Now it is good to show these factors or Huts. But as the matter of fact you don't expect president Doe to use Government taxes to develop a particular county it doesn't work like that. Development is approved by Government 😅.
Saluta!
Bravo! This one of the all time best videos I've seen on explaining with the best patterns and the story behind what's happening. Thank you so much for producing this content. I started making daily income consistently after knowing the secret of 7figures income earners from my mentor. I'm so happy today. God bless David Tepper Coach for teaching me everything about the markets.. I love this video
SAD time for former president home town looking like this Liberia have long time to be developed.
It can happen in Ghana Nigeria only Liberia leadership are criminal.
See president weah home town today.
WEAH 1 single house 🏠 from his home town.
In Monrovia many mansions he is building 🏢🏢🏢🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫🏫
Liberia will never develop. Anything related to America is a disaster
Thanks for going to Tuzon !!
You are welcome
So interesting.
Is there anything special or significant about not eating black deer? Just curious why they named the place after people who dont eat black deer.
As explained in the video, we couldn't get more information because the elders were not available.🙌🏿🇱🇷🙌🏿
@LaurettaBiraneCisse oh okay gotcha
@@Lehsee. yes, but I hope to visit again. Maybe I'll find out why and share it online😊
Wow he's did not develop his home town
Yooo the major could have done better for his hometown
This can be a good thing. Under the circumstances of those days any partially could have lead to resentment and other repercussions
Have you been to Zwedru, stop talking if you haven’t travel out of Monrovia
@@nyundojuma3434 my dear you are doing great
Your works are so amazing. Doe didn't do well for his hometown and his people.
It is that he served from 1986-1990? Please be specific.
That's when he officially became the 21st President of Liberia.
One of the most developed countries in Africa congratulations Liberia soon you will be the super power of Africa

The late Samuel Doe didn't do well for his people.
True , he was trying tirelessly to put Liberia and Liberian first but we are so ungrateful.
This place is after the war. But yes, he didn’t, neither did previous presidents before him, sadly.
Next time let the old man the you about the town
Rewatch the video again, and understand.🙏🏿
why old man Gaye aint wan talk?
Don't say "Old man". Say, "Pa pey"!

I expected to see good houses, but nothing as such. President home
This is very unfortunate!
I wanted to see Senator Zoe Pennue House
I guess that would have been a part of the video if the elders gave us the chance to explore and showcase the whole town.
@@LaurettaBiraneCisse Thanks it's actually beautiful of you
the old man wanted some monetary payment for his knowledge perhaps?
I don't know oh
This video is empty. No knowledge. You wanted to speak about the hometown of Samuel Doe. But you did not say anything about that. It is empty.
Lol, you call that a town??? It's a mud village sis
