Your a good salesman!!!
Two wagons at once, got me.
Most unusual appeal on You Tube: "Please subscribe,,,,I'm haulin' TWO WAGONS AT ONCE people!" What a hoot! (his hairlo is perfect) Very good videographing! Many imaginative camerra angles/placements. Oats are a powerhouse! Hi Test. Much respect on your success(es)!
Great job Owen! Enjoyed the video very much. Liked the ducks there at the end. From Roger watching in Florida.
The ducks are " vibing"........LOL. 😂😅❤
Hillside combine,,draper head,,,very cool.
Great video Gierok Farms
Nice combine have a great day.
Thanks for the great content.
All the ABOVE, Owen😂...👍👍
Btw, great job excellent video.....watch out Aaron, got competition 😂
Nice job Owen you got some really cool footage
So I assume that you want us to refer to you as "Two Wagon Owen" from now on! :) Good job young man.
Good luck getting your oats combined and baled
Your younger brother is cool and polite... great video.. thank you for sharing
Now that guy has an impressive stash!!
Amaziing. That big old threshing machine was more fun though. That big belt going from a tractor to the machine, all those men handling the shocks, the thresher blowing the straw into that big pile. And perhaps best the big meal at noon put together by Little Annie Tricksie's (the farm owner) tiny wife. That big thresher and belt was hard to beat in terms of drama. That straw being blown into a huge pile on a hot sunny day.
Poetry in motion
i have been working on a farm and the man we had to drive the combine, could make all kinds of corn ore grain clean allmost!!!
Oats looked super clean.
Nice footage!
As your dad was backing in the elevator the backdrop of your corn cribs and barn where worthy of a Norman Rockwell painting. absolute credit to the family.
Great job
Thanks for taking the reins, Owen. Always appreciate seeing young folk passionate about farming.
Nice job Owen❤❤❤❤❤ love it when you and Mason are on. You do a good job.
Wow,that 9770 sure did a great job of putting a very clean tankful of oats in the wagon. That operator sure knew how to set his machine.Harvest is one of the best part of farming. Thanks 😂.
That is a serious looking harvester. Owen, you are a relaxed and quite fluent narrator.
Thank you young man for great video 😂
Great video Mason,,just off the feeder house.
Great video!
Well done young man. Hard working, and smart. Your parents must be proud 😊
The end/closing was great! He had me laughing, put him often as you can I enjoyed seeing a young guy that’s still got the passion!
Great content !!
That's quite a large head for such hilly ground!
Funny young man mixing business with pleasure. A good way to be. Enjoy what you do. Do what you enjoy.
That must have been an awesome scene when the grain was bundled and shocked 75 years ago
Nice crop of oats, thanks for showing a side hill combine, I have seen them but never in operation.
❤😊 I'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE SIDE HILL COMBINE. HOW THE LEVELING WORKS ??? BIG PENDULUM ????? ❤😊
Nice job, Owen. Very informative and well put together.
Also, love the video. Great job Owen. You got some awesome angles.😊😊😊
Great camera angles on that header! Super video young man! 😇
Nice looking Deere Jason ✌️
Probably the most thorough explanation of how combine works by using so many different camera positions. Great job !
Well look at Y'all with the fancy equipment! Shes a pretty combine!
Great camera work. Really enjoyed the video.
Bring back ,memories an I thought our Massey Ferguson 410 combine was big good job Owen 👍🏾.
Your sons are absolutely amazing and you and your wife should be really proud of them and their work ethic. Thank you for sharing your lives
Great look at the colors of the oats against the rolling hills!
Cool video.
Great job showing how the head and combine worked. I m impressed. I remember how dusty it was shoveling the oats into the grain bins. Great photos of the head operating.
First time I have seen you use a contractor, there I was thinking you own every machine known to farming! :)
They don't have a combine if I remember it correctly. Last year they hired a fellow with a New Holland, I think.
good vid the Owen , nice to see it cut and safe in the store , i know it is harder to cut when it is under sowed but looks fine now and the straw must be some good feed for the cattle , love the ending Owen , them Ducks look great
Great job with your video!!
enjoyed your video nothing but hard work farming
It's amazing that these machines are gradually replacing humans
Thank you Jason for the ride along, the time and great explanations.
Great job the video
Watching the way that machine works is rather mesmerizing and really enjoyed riding along with you. Always enjoy seeing you, Owen and you are becoming very adept with the camera, using the different angles and showing how the oats are processed. Also thank you to Jason for showing us your equipment
And you are right, we do want to see the ducks, or at least I do, love them! Did you give them names?
Thanks for the video and will look forward to seeing you and the rest of your family as the season progresses. Hope you are having a great summer. Take Care!
Young man we used an auger when we kept seed back. Because of genetic changes we don't do that any more. Did you know the scoop you were using is a 1/3 bushel scoop. 3 scoops is real close to a bushel.
I don't know if I could ever get used to harvesting on side hills like that. A little bit top heavy and I think I'm rolling it over. Take some getting used to. Oh, and Owen Rocks!!!
hill side are fine if you know what to do and how to drive on them we have steeper hills than that shown and i think they have there , the trick is never turn down hill with a heavy load like a big flat roller especially with a 2 wheel drive tractor
Thanks for posting
Great job on the video mason! Enjoyed it very much.
Love how your farm operates
You guys really have a beautiful looking farm with the rolling hills, very similar to us here in eastern Iowa. I noticed at around 10:57 that the 686 may have a flat left front tire.
Hello from Tasmania Australia, I have been watching videos of the wheat harvest in Montana, ( they do it big up there) vastly different country to where you farm. Your farm is very much like ours. Great job keep it up
The oats are a cover crop over alfalfa? Do you bale the chaff for hay? When you plant these crops?
I can see how the head flexes with the land! was watching the cutter bar, Saw the plug up on the guards, just like mowing with the old haybine! Very interesting!
What different crops do use the Draper head for?
Kind of a fan of JPenterprises
That guy knows his machine. Nice moustache too.
Just wondering if the dry weather hurt the yeald of your oats? And how they did.
An oak branch with the oats!
just curious to how they charge by the hour or by the acre
When the computer calculates yield per acre does it compensate for hilly ground surface area affects?
Impressive ! It really does a nice job .oats look nice and clean ,the color of the oats next to the green that’s left behind is beautiful. Lucky to have that man available for harvest . God Bless
We have come a long way from doing cutting and binding with horses and threshing with a giant machine. Thank you for sharing an informative video and another beautiful day on the farm. Stay safe, and God bless.
The grain bin always had at least a couple cats running around.
In Ireland Owen is spelled Eoghan, Irish
Dumb question: Having never run a combine or done this kinda of stuff. I noticed when you started the field the combine was cutting some pretty tall weeds and stuff. What keeps them from getting mixed in with the oats before they go into the wagon? Or you don't really worry about it..
The combine does it's job. It's job is to seperate the grain from the other material.
the weed seed will get into the oats but only if they thrash out in the drum , the sieves in the combine will separate lots of them but a few of the will get into the grain tank and as the oats are used for cattle seed it really does not matter
Wouldn't be a job for anyone afraid of hills. Those self-leveling combines are quite a piece of machinery. With a 35 foot header, definitely didn't have to hurry to complete your acres of oats.
Do you plant bin run oats or seed oats?
looks like you shaved again, nice. :)
Great video, what variety you have? I’m looking to plant for my animals
What does he charge per bushel?
No grains this year in my area. With the crop rotation, the crops are all corn and soy beans. Last year was grains.// What was your yield on the oats per acre?
I'm courious on how many bushels ya had harvested
Is there a BIG Pendulum in the combine for leveling ???
My bet is that hydraulic’s are in play. Super useful, very expensive machine. This was a great video!
What size tires are on the rear of your combine?
Why is it being cut so low?
They were heavy and down somewhat. You have to cut them low to get them all, also the combine clips the straw and after baling straw, you're ready for some new alfalfa.
Doo yous celebrate St Patrick's day in America
how did the oats yield as far as bushel per acre . also how many pounds to the bushel did they weight? oats is nice and clean could pass for milling oats as long as the weight is good
A augar would work in my mind better then that elevator for putting always your harvested oats but still a nice setup
they use what they have
There killing 2 birds with 1 stone auger wont move ear corn an they dont have huge crop oats to store an handle we did same thing back in 50 ,60 ,70 s this called making do with what you have available
Anyone there ever windrow oats then combine with a pickup head?
Viel grün dabei und der Hafer fließt nicht so schön im Schneidwerk
What was the dry matter percent 😊
👍
😅now I see why,it's laying down
I just learned something new I don't know why I didn't think about it before you know because I feel sometimes are not all the way flat you know there's hills and you know what I mean but the machine moves with it our King is coming back soon his name is Jesus Northern California keep your eyes on Israel that's where all the Bible came from 14:37
No vaccine ever needs to be mandated. Lets put our thinking caps on people.
Just a REMINDER I'M GIVING YOU AN INVITATION TO THE LE SUEUR COUNTY PIONEER POWER SHOW ❤😊 AUGUST 25-26-27❤❤😊😊
itchy stuff now go get a shower.
Not the greatest combine driver 😂 joking
Oats can get pretty heavy down hill especially when you haul them with a wd45
