They are not saying that you can't work there. They are saying you won't be given specific jobs because of gender sexual orientation, skin color etc..When being treated equal to everyone else feels like discrimination, then that's on you!

Well if it’s any consolation the entire state is footing the bill for the impish antics of our dysfunctional legislature. Let’s see if KSTP has those numbers crunched? Probably more than $50k

The entire organization is a grift. The only people hurt by the lost funding are the ones profitting from the grift.

Perpetual victimhood has made this stuff so tiring. Many just stopped listening. Constant barrage...
Target is my last choice just based on pricing and store setup alone. Their pandering lost them a lot of customers. Now the ones Target took it on the nose for are betrayimg them because one dissagreement. Who cares, the victims have become the aggressors and the public sees it.

@supernonfriendo appreciate your honesty. My son is gay and pride does not represent him. Either. He is a good man and I pray for him daily ( along with my other 3 children , who are not)

I am a gay man in the twin cities attend pride every year. Must say I disagree with this. Target changed their dei policies, okay, WE decided to fire them as a sponsor. Frankly the gay community can do just fine finding jobs without dei and I as a community member disagree with the pride organization's decision. The gay community exists independently of politics. In my opinion, so should twin cities pride

I'm not sure if cutting ties with Target was strategically correct. Keeping them on as a sponsor retains the $50k funding, and also leaves Target as a supporter of something the right would disapprove of, denying the right a new perceived ally. Target would also be in a situation where if it decided itself to stop funding Pride, then it would remove all doubt that it has sided with right wing hate and harsher consequences from the public would ensue.
