My granddaughters and made gingerbread cookies over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We made a flock of sheep, a forest of trees, and one lone dog 🐶 We made enough to gift gingerbread to all of my neighbors. It was a great way to kick off the Christmas season 😃

LOL I have never been referred to as a BALLER . I just came back to stitching this past March, so The Jingle Ball was all new to me and I had a great time. The classes were amazing. You ladies are hilarious. My favorite Monday morning gift.

When I was younger we didn't have a lot of money, so we would "help" mom make gingerbread & sugar cookies to gift to friends, family and neighbors. Every year I would make myself sick licking the frosting off my fingers, yet it remains one of my favorite memories surrounding Christmas. The week before Christmas a group from our church would go the local nursing home and sing Christmas carols to the residents and give them some of our cookies made with love. As an adult I realize how much that meant to the residents and can still picture how their faces lit up seeing us children. I thought it was the gingerbread and sugar cookies. Now I realize that it was the little children visiting them. Thanks for the sweet memories.
I make a fabulous gingerbread cookie and gift them to my adult nephews, who gobble them before they get them home. It gives me so much joy to bake cookies for Christmas.
I have been collecting gingerbread charts for a small vignette in my home. As a gift to myself, I have been increasing my crossstitching hours each day to try and complete the rest of my Jingle Ball projects from this year's event.
