Newer versions have a time bonus setting as well. The rubber feet were a bit slippery, so I changed them, and also added some extra weight inside the case to keep the clock better in place. Can't get anything comparable for the price, that's for sure.
One thing I find out about this clock (unless I'm missing something), the only way to reset it to play another game is to turn it OFF then ON. There doesn't seem any button to hit to reset the time control for the next game. Am I missing something?
I have bought a few of these. At this price point, for backgammon they are unbeatable, supporting simple delay 12/2 or whatever you like. If LEAP would just make a v2 option with coloured backlit LEDs ike the ZMart ZMF-II, rather than the less readable LCDs of the current version (see 3:24 ) , they would be perfect.
Hi I am in the Brighton BG league, Just bought this timer, but can't seem to get the delay setting to come up. I have cycled through the settings, but only gets to volume. Any ideas please
Its ok I figured it out. I had to take the battery out and start again. My counter did count up, but now it counts down, and that was due to taking out the battery, starting again, and cycling through all settings.
I have bought one. It's easy to operate but when time runs out there's no way to go back to a new game without having to turn it off. Can someone explain that to me, please? He comprado uno.
Mine arrived today and I purchased on the strength of this video post. Excellent little timer and so easy to use and program. Thx. I just need a scoreboard if you are still selling them?
I'm in the process of making a new and improved version of the scoreboard. I will send out a mail once it's ready. If all goes well, I will be able to sell them in 1,5 months time.
I'm not a professional review channel. I just made this quick review to show some of the features. I don't remember how I made it count down but please share if you find out. Sharing is caring and rude comments are not appreciated.

What did you use as weight?
@@dbmillan A useless big Allen key I had lying around :)

The chess clock I’m going to one a day for Christmas 🎄
Hi. I registered an interest for a score board, on your website, but haven't got any further. Do you still produce/sell them?
I'm in the process of making a new and improved version of the scoreboard. I will send out a mail once it's ready. If all goes well, I will be able to sell them in 1,5 months time.
@@wilsonsemilio1276 Are the scoreboards available in the USA? seems its only for europe.
@@sjsphotog They are available all over the world :) What makes you think it's only europe?
@@wilsonsemilio1276 from the website where I tried to buy one seemed it was only in the EU.
Is this clock better than thetouch sensitive in your opinion? What about the strenth in a time rush?
mrcelada That's my question too
I still prefer my ZMF-II Digital Chess Clock, mainly because the screen is backlit and because the overall build quality is way better.
Does this clock have increment setting?
It has delay. No increment, I think. So time will not be added.
yes
I got one of these recently and it has both increment and delay, unlike the one in the video.
@@markkureunanen2997 do you mean Fisher timing? adding time after each move?
It adds the time before the move, but yes.
One player now had 8 seconds delay, the other 12 ... Thx - i will use this trick by myself! ;-)
Mine is counting up..how do you switch to count down?
I honestly don't remember. I should have included that in the video. But I'm sure you can find the answer on Google or in the clock manual?
@@wilsonsemilio1276 how do you use it for backgammon? i mean whats the mantality? - im chess and backgammon so statistics maniac ))
I'm not sure I understand your question@@devrimboz4302
@@wilsonsemilio1276 i mean in which settings you use this cheap model, for backgammon?
@@devrimboz4302 My settings depend on what type of match I'm playing: Competition, Normal or Speed.
The backgammon scoreboard i already have one know
A scoreboard and chess clock timer I already have it know the both stuff
I cannot believe there is no explanation of what to do if the timer is counting up???? plus it doesn't appear you reply to comments....haha...terrible
