@mrhairmetal Amen to that. Winger was a prog-rock band disguised as a "hair metal" band. The melodies, brilliant use of technology to compliment the musicians and writing, particularly on the "Pull" album is amazing. Not that these guys didn't crank out some asskicking, fun tunes as well.
What year was this? Jeff Pilson and Reb were outstanding, and Mick kept the beat. It sounded like Don was having vocal issues, but he didn't disappoint.

I saw them four years ago or so, I wasn't all that impressed. I mean trust me, back in the day Don was the man. I am friends with a girl he dated for a while and so I pretty much know the history of the guy. I feel for him, it sucks when you lose the ability to produce what you did ten years back. he has an occasional good show, but overall the man is pretty much done.
I know I'm gonna flamed for this BUT, I'd put Reb Beach up against ANYONE in the business......Lynch, Van Halen, Satriani, Gilbert, Vai, etc.... The man is amazing.
@adrianenduro I respectfully disagree...but, that's what makes music AND the internet awesome. And the fact that you called me Mister...honestly, l love it. I've been called vile, horrid names on this site but your post gives me Faith that folks can still be civil and have some fun w/one another. Thank you for a great, well thought out post. =)

@foxman123456789 Winger doesn't suck but they ARE/were basically just a bunch of studio fill in musicians who got lucky for a little while. Ace Frehley..uh, now I have 2 question your knowledge of guitar. W/out all the glam, flash & gimmicks that WERE Kiss, Ace was just another basic guitarist. 3 major chords & a lead here and there..Not my idea of a ground breaking musician. Now, let's talk about Rhandy Rhoades. If he'd lived longer, a lot of famous guitarist would've even been heard of!

Lol man you haven’t a clue , it’s acoustic pretty hard to shred I’d say he nailed it while keeping the same feel . I LOVE Lynch , but as a live guitarist he’s damn sloppy

I just can't do Acoustic Dokken! Some songs they can get away with it, but I prefer the rocked out versions much more.
