There's a channel called "The HWYLIFE" where the multiple Skoolie owner meticulously replaces every single rivet and screw with a caulk+stainless steel treatment. He stopped the leaks cold. It's the kind of thing that a person learns after many builds, but that really should be known on the first one--less stressful.
Let the transformations begin and the Quality of the Good News Bus build begin anew .
Thanks for sharing looking forward to the bus remake .
Blessings
Wow!! Great job! We are so happy to see a bus conversion from you again 🤩
Labour and material intensive but I am sure well worth it. Looking forward to the next video.
This is very exciting, a daily vlog, I love it, and doing another bus build, FABULOUS, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE END PRODUCT...
MY FAVORITE FAMILY IS BACK
LOL, I know ya'll are used to it but every time any of you walks nonchalantly on the roof, my heart starts pounding so afraid someone is going to fall off. 😕 Been bingeing for a while & happy to finally catch up with ya'll. Excited about this new bus build-out!! 😀
Your video editing is great!!!
Like you work guys and looking forward to tagging along on this bus renovation
Very interesting project ! 👍👍👍
Great job. Don't jump off the roof anymore, your body will thank you when you are older. Eye protection when using rotary equipment .
Eternabound tape is a terrific solution for the roof seams. However, it requires extreme cleanliness.
Glad yall got the roof done... thats Awesome
Great - love it.
Would be nice to get an overview of your building plans to understand what will go on. 3 mths guess no roof raise and windows to be blocked from the inside.
Solar - use thin film panels like Solar Frontier. They produce less per square foot but during more hours. As they work even when partially shaded, cloudy weather and even in a lit parking lot. An RV you often want to park it shaded areas to use less aircon ... hence thin film is the way to go.
In my RV all gadgets I use charge directly off USB. My Samsung Chromebook, my smartphone, my electric shaver, my Bluetooth speaker. The stove and heating work of gas. The only thing that needs 240 volts (or gas but no 12v) is the fridge - unfortunately.
That dramatically reduces solar and batteries needed.
What I think is Bus Life heirs are getting big! Nice bus. 😂
Your kids are really growing up.
More great information, thanks again 👍 🙏
so happy to see your family build another beautiful home on wheels!!
I love this yes please update us every night that would be so cool especially if you have someone on the camera that makes it so much easier for everybody else to get their work done even though I know this is a lot of work and I know it's a lot of work editing it .
I think Ashton might be addicted. Lol
Wow this is so nice to see the whole family involved.
Ashton is a great help so to see. Another pair of handy hands. So maybe it is possible to do the conversion in three months.
Isaiah you are doing a great job with filming, editing and commenting.
We were thinking about covering the roof with something that prevents leaking in the future. I will check this silicone.. out.
Say hi to everybody!
It’s always a pleasure getting a notification from my favorite family on RUclips. I really missed you guys it’s awesome to see you posting again on here and I understand it’s not at all what it used to be. I love this new bus already it’s huge and should accommodate your growing family. God Bless you.
Good to see you again too!!!
I love Bondo, fiber glass and silicone for the roof! Glad to see you guys back in action on another conversion!
Great video!
Bondo where it is leaking they have self adhesive tape they use on semi trailers the adhesive tape which strong & aluminum on the other side
Looking forward to how you do this one. What are the two raised areas on the roof?
That bus was build 40 miles from my place.
Very cool the holes on the roof transitioning is the gutters built into the roof line at least it's was that way on my 1990 vanhool I always thought it was a bad idea to have them nothing wrong with sealing them shut very cool shell to go with what's the running gear in it 60 series Detroit or?
👏🍀
Did you need a cdl to drive your bus from Florida to your build site?
Have my sights on a self build of a van hool as well.
Hi! Did you guys use that same siliconizer on your other bus builds?
Yes
Do you have a link to that siliconizer? I have a minor leak that I can't seem to get rid of!

Please be aware light wire brushes will clean better and mar the surface to make the sealer bound and then use the attabon tape then siliconiEr and never work on it for 10years.
Hi Shane what’s the name of that siliconizer and where can I get it?
amzn.to/374SBw8 Home
Depot has it as well.
