Capolavoro assoluto! Ascoltato all'infinito per un certo periodo della mia vita. Dentro c'è tutto: dramma, malinconia, linee melodiche, Ennio Morricone, poliziotteschi, anni '70. Un disco che per me ha significato davvero tanto. Bravissimi!!
Whirlpool of Terror and Tension... Une des plus belles compositions musicales que j'ai écouté jusqu'à ce jour... Ce morceau est un album à lui tout seul tellement qu'il est parfaitement partitionné.
Their best album (none are bad, far from it), got to meet Pasi Salmi and see his band Eleanoora Rosenholm in London and even had a beer with him after the gig, such a nice friendly guy. You used to be able to download demos, unreleased albums etc. from their website which sadly has closed
@@markclements1509 wonderful. I really like them. All three albums was good, I saw one gig but unfortunately I didn't have my Olympus WS650s recorder with me then... Because I had that just 2011 :) My friend has their vinyl-EP.
1. Whirlpool Of Terror And Tension 00:00 2. Sudden Death 5:53 3. Black Procession 14:51 4. European Lover 17:45 5. Intercontinental Hustle 30:22 6. One By One 38:04 7. Popzag 41:20
- 'Intercontinental Hustle' sounds like a cover of 'Escape' from 'Resident Evil: Zero' OST and 'White Out' from 'Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles' OST. It's awesome!
Two years went by.... and I can sell my CD... ...MMMH. WELL mmmh... NO But CD-R. ?¿ For free? Only problem is that I live in Finland SO underrated band and album!

Stuff that I must listen to on headphones, otherwise my wife ... not so happy. Rather Oldfieldian in the structure of the notes, particularly of the first two tracks. This is totally new to me -- saw it on Prog Archives -- in a list of important "post rock/math rock" albums. Not really familiar with either term, though I'd heard of "math rock" before. Thought it was only associated with some form of heavy metal ... which I hate with about the same deep passion as I hate rap, so hopefully the aforementioned is a different kind of "math" than that belonging to anything whatsoever to do with metal, black, death whateverthecrap "music". But this, so far, is rather interesting. I can dig it. PS: here's the link to the Prog Archives page: www.progarchives.com/subgenre.asp?style=32

Still hauntingly beautiful after all these years ❤❤❤
Whirlpool Of Terror And Tension is the best track from this beautiful album. Their earlier record Kings Of Time is also worth hearing.
Not your typical post rock, which is good
Amazing album. Not sure if people disliking this have their mind set right
Fantastic album ! Intercontinental hustle is a masterpiece

SO underrated band and album!
it's like a jazzy Deathspell Omega, magnificent!
relu ion Interesting perspective. I would say jazzy Terra Tenebrosa because of the Scandinavian vibe, but I get your point.
@@danandersson7768yes, but the use of minor harmonic and phrigian, and add9 chords and diminished chords is straight outta Dso trickbag
@@buddy.boyo88 Do you know any good examples of this? Would be interested to hear some DsO references.

Yes! I thought I was the only one who thought the first tracks have a sound slightly resembling Oldfield's.
Came from that website too
Who disliked this album? Really?
This album is fucking amazing, but 20 or so min in the treble is so high i got a headache
