At first I believed that this must be because my lack of anime knowledge that I believed Kenshin is the best. After watching over 250 series, I still think that it is one of the best anime out there and my personal favorite. Taku Iwasaki still remains my favorite with RK-Kotowari, Noragami-Lurk In The Dark and Mahouka-Miyuki soundtracks.
This OVA is what got me hooked on anime, and the eerie thing is. I understood it's powerful message on the first go as a kid... But even now there is a lot of symbolism in it still, which I think a lot of people have not caught up on. (the red dragonfly, etc.)

Just a small correction, this piece is called Ko To Wa Ri , even tho in some parts it sounds like In Memories a Boy Meets The Man. This is a rare piece nevertheless.
