I personally love Mojave Ghost from Byredo. I haven’t smelt anything like it and I’ve received so many compliments. But my everyday, signature scent that I absolutely LOVE is BR540.
This was a good video. I do feel like it's easier to name Designer fragrances as scents we actually love because they are more readily available to the masses. Niche fragrances are honestly only really loved by true fragrance addicts. MFK Baccarat is the exception and able to cross over to mass appeal.
I love BR 540, Delina, Donna Born In Roma, Flowerbomb and Idole! Can’t get enough of them! Initially, I thought La Belle was overhyped and I didn’t like it. Then a couple months later I smelled it again and really started to like it. I’m waiting for Fall and Winter to wear it again and see if it’s a love. I’m not a fan of Love Don’t Be Shy though. 💙

I got SO hyped for Parfums de Marley Delina and Delina Exclusif but I didn’t want to blind buy. Found an official sample of Delina-I see why people rave about it. It wasn’t super bomb on me, and was even a little headachey. I think I got a fake sample of Delina Exclusif. It smelled like liquefied dollar store incense. I think I’ll look elsewhere for a legit sample. MFK BR 540 for me was like Italica-love at first sniff and smells great me on as well. BR 540 lasts longer than Italica on me. Kilian is by far my fave house tbh so I wouldn’t say they’re “just popular” but they were hyped organically by the Rihanna situation and how much people talked about Angels Share when it came out. I feel like all the hype Kilian has is all from fragcomm and is like 5% actually their marketing lmao
I had the chance to test Bal D‘Afrique last week and I really wanted to hate it, as it’s this expensive, but I really love the scent 🥺. I feel like it does not last well and the sillage isn‘t beast mode either, but it smells soooo good 🥵😫.

I think some of these were popular for a minute, and for some it's because they were hard to get. I think La Belle will make a comeback (not that I've seen it go anywhere) because Macy's just started carrying it so it'll be more mainstream now.
