That was so good! Can't believe that blown Nova at the end- gave it a hit to the 330ft or maybe even less and still almost ran a flat 5. That's a serious car tat thing. The green Camaro was off tap, man that thing was beautiful
This video has two of my favorite cars ever, duking it out for the top spot: an early 70's Nova, and a Z34 Lumina. The first car I ever owned was a Lumina, and whenever I see one on the track, even in pro-modded form, it just brings a huge smile to my face. I can remember getting the chance to sit inside a pro-street 8-second Lumina over 15 years ago while walking around in the pit area at a racing event. The car was required to have a full-stock dashboard, stock steering wheel, and stock front seats to qualify for the "pro-street" rules of this particular bracket. It was pretty surreal to be sitting in an 8-second, big block car which had all the same comfort features on the dashboard as my daily driver shit-kicker Lumina, which I literally drove into the ground about 4 years later. Ever since then, I vowed that if I ever went drag racing, it would be in a Lumina-bodied car, if I could find one... and someday, I will. See you all on the track!
5:01 looks like Left lane moves early but Right lane followed and got the Red Lite. I see more Chevy II's now than I did anytime since they were made. That is a good thing.
If anyone is near South NE or North KS, I would recommend going to Klatt Motorways in Hastings, NE any Saturday night of the summer. They hold drag races there and they are actually REALLY good.
wish cars like these would come to my local track but never have. when the fastest car is a rail that ran high in the 4s it's become a joke track. I-57 needs races like this
My local track is the same way. They used to have Pro Mods and nostalgia nitro cars, but now the best cars that show up are jet cars, and get this, funny cars that run on an index like a bracket car! Then they charge $25-$30 admission, plus parking! Because of that I haven't been to an event in probably ten years.
Can anyone answer a question for me. What function does the piece foreword of the bumper serve on the green nova? I've seen them on other cars and wondered. Thanks
1/8 mile isnt a race . these are fast cars and deserve to be run 1/4 mile . id like to see some 275 / 300 fast 1/4 mile runs ! ... as my uncle who raced for over 40 years says 8ths isnt racing , 1/4s is worth racing . he never raced a 8th in his career , he was asked but refused .... racers are cool but funny people ... (8ths are for wannabes)
Tbh all these muscle cars drivers have no skill. You need a fast car to drive in a straight line. But you need a fast driver to drive in turns on a real track.

You make some of the best vids on YT bro. Keep up the great work. BTW, what's happening with your Nova???
Its so amazing that these cars can get moving so fast in only 600 feet!

great job on all video's.....from Detroit

Seeing that old Lumina made me smile! I had 3 early 90s Caviler Z24s and 2 early 90s Lumina Z34s back in the late 90s.
You know you're deep in the bible belt, when the left lane is sponsored by the Elm Grove Methodist Church, LOL.
ken barr ....its when its sponsored by the westboro baptist church you have to worry🤣
Serious good driving on that last, left lane pass for the Donco Nova!
they was all good races
The green Camaro is awesome
GUNGAMERS 154 yeah it's my favorite car in this video
I've seen that green camaro before at Hot Summer Nights, Mokan Dragway
The winners got one bad ride.

Laura Radigan Tow bar
Because of the promods wheel base is longer so they put it on the shorter cars to make the same length
At the end- is that their RT or their ET?
RT is the first number you see as they race. They it changes to ET then MPH
LtJackboot et then mph
Thanks guys
melhor canal !
looks like a trailer park in the back ground. what do ya get if you win? 2 years worth of chewing tobacco?? lol
Who win 5 🏁

Jimmy Walsh I think it's fun to watch though
Haven't seen a boring type of racing yet
Try driving one of these Jimmy Walsh. I think it will change your thinking😄
