IMO you ask Bo & Vladdy if they'll stay thru a retool by trading the pitchers, IKF, etc.. If they say no you completely blow it up & restart.
Blow it up, a re-tool is just a half measure that delays the inevitable rebuild. The jays need to restock the farm system, which means trading your best assets Vlad and Bo. Orioles and Yankees will be running the division for the next 3-5 years so tear it down, and position yourself to make a run after the Orioles lose their young guys and the Yankees get old.
They're about 2 months late on blowing up this joke of a team. Bunch of bloated, egotistical slow players who don't show up when it matters. I hope they blow up this roster until Atkins is fired and blow it up again to make sure.
Perhaps a failure to do a proper rebuild will ultimately drive enough fans away from attending games at Rogers Centre that management will be forced to dig deep and do that rebuild so that the Jays will be competitive afterwards for years to come and make Toronto baseball fans proud again.
I think the Blue Jays should talk to the Dodgers . They have the number 3 ranked farm in the Majors and Teoscar wouldn't mind a reunion with some of them , but then again it starts with the Management . Their defense first strategy is really stupid .
Its time to fire Atkins. Why would you let the architect of this team continue to make bad decisions.
I don’t care what gets done as long as both Shapiro and Atkins are canned. I don’t trust them with any decisions going forward with who stays and who goes. Cleveland couldn’t wait to offload these two clowns and look at them now.
Think of what you think they should do. Leadership will then do the opposite.
I don’t even mess with the Jays…watching them is depressing
cant understand how the blue jays were willing to spend 500 million dollars on one player but were unwilling to spend money to help bolster this team into a winner. Not good and now this season is a total bust
I expect the Jays to go all in
