No idea what that dodge driver was thinking. He didn’t have a phone distracting him and he was the only one in the vehicle. He had every opportunity to stop, he could’ve gone into the lane beside me that was unoccupied for left turns or he could’ve discontinued turning left. It’s a shame that he did that as it affected the poor driver as now investigations have to happen before he’s allowed to drive the vehicle anymore.take your time and think people it’s not worth it. The fire they were responding to was just a pot on the stove so it was not a big deal, but if it had been a situation of a housefire, this could’ve ruined some life. Take your time be respectful around emergency vehicles.
Looks to me like the Dodge was expecting the firetruck to make a right turn - not a U turn and he was in a big ass hurry and cut to the other lane and got on the gas.
@@zajaka4164it is standard here during fireman training to take corners wide for uturns regardless of using a long or short truck. It’s also law to stay back a set distance from an emergency services vehicle when lights and sirens are on and is strictly forbidden to pass an emergency vehicle like that regardless of the circumstances. Hey there! We really like your clip and would love to feature it in our new project on our social networks. Can we use it? We'll make sure to give you full credit
I’d like a bit more details first. Are you local? What driver are you representing? Might be best discussed not in public eye here. camkeepsdroningonandon@gmail.com Would be the more appropriate place to discuss this I think. Thank you.
Hello there, is it alright if I use it in a dash cam compilation for educational purposes? I'll give credit to you on-screen and link back. Do you happen to have a longer version of the video?
Sure. Thank you so much for asking. The full video is 3 min but I trimmed it down to when you could first make out the fire engine. Before that there is nothing important (and I was on a call 10 seconds before) are you needing some other info hence needing longer?
@@camkeepsdroningonandon Thank you very much! We needed a few extra seconds of footage after the accident to add on-screen commentary. However, this is okay too, as I have the tools to pause the video and describe the situation. No other information is needed, everything is in the description box. Thanks, and take care out there!

Sure. Thank you so much for checking first! This happened in Surey BC heading eastbound on 64th street just past king George. Nobody was hurt and thankful the call they were en route too even though was called in as a house fire was just a pot on a stove so thankfully this dodge driver did not cause loss of life or property. I was the only one to stop and check everyone was ok and only one to offer my contact info as a witness and provide this footage.

Sure. As I said to the other RUclipsr, who has asked, I really appreciate you taking the time to ask my permission before posting. This happened in Surrey British Columbia heading eastbound on 64th St just after King George Highway. The firetruck was attending a housefire call that ended up thankfully just being a pot on the stove, so there was no loss of life or property damage caused by this Dodge driver. The footage was submitted to the fire hall at the police before it was posted on RUclips by myself. The Dodge driver is 100% at fault and on scene excepted liability that we know how it goes when it comes down to dealing with insurance. Thankfully, providing this footage well insure that the fire department is protected.
