First of all, I named it DISNEY and I used Anastasia and I know this movie is from 20th Century Fox but now it belongs to Disney so I guess we are good haha
Okay so.
On April 24th I will have my bday and I will be 30th. So I decided to think about my life, what I like, so one of things I LOVE... Disney animated movies. I was huge fan since day one, The Lion King was the first movie I have seen in cinema, I still remember this. For first 12 years of my life I lived in flat that was 2 mins away from cinema. I remember going there alone as a kid, watching movies and going back home re-living it. I do remember when I watched Mulan, I was going back home imagining that I am Mulan and I fight with evil. When my sister was born I was so happy because I had a reason to watch all the movies all the time. And here I am 30 years old and watching every Sunday morning Disney animated movie.
I really do believe that those movies shaped me. They made me who I am. As a girl I was watching Pocahontas, Esmeralda and Mulan, my badass "princesses" and all I wanted was to be that strong, brave and... independent. I guess I am a dreamer with everything is possible attitude because of movies. Movies that were telling me I am enough and as Walt Disney once said.... If you can dream it, you can do it.
So this is first video. Every saturday I will post a new video... can't wait :)

Whenever i’m worried , the words “hakuna matata” ring in my had, stupid i know. But it’s kindred and makes the worry feels less heavy. It will be okay. It’s always darkest before dawn. I guess.
Watching at old movies or even a show (i’ve watched Elementary 4x over and over) feels amazing and kindred. Feel at peace i guess; because you know the beginnings and the end. You can just relax and sit back. Plus sometimes, like with the lion king , the humor or the adult context is,something you realize later on.😂
Marti.. First of all your description of this video 😭 I can relate. Bless the era that we got to grow up in (sure, today's movies are also beautiful but there is just something special about our OG Princess crew).
And then your editing.. I CAN NOT. I am floored and need to go rewatch both Mulan and Anastasia asap 😭😭😭❤️

I was in love with Milan, Pocahontas and Hunch Back of Norte Dame when I was growing up too. They help shape me too, I understand everything you’re feeling about turning 30 this year. My birthday is in June and have been thinking about my life a lot lately too.

Talking about age and videos, I read in your db you will be 30 (Happy Birthday in advance) and I just want to ask something that's been bugging me for a while. It has nothing to do with the video but I have to ask someone 'in the field'. Iam currently doing a master that finishes on the summer and then I will find a job cause that's the course of things. But I don't want to give up on editing because of lack of time. I am currently still fighting an on going vidding block but I don't want want it to be too late. Again, sorry, this has nothing to do with the video but I was wondering how do you do it? Editing I mean.
Hi :) thank you for happy birthday already hahaha! You are first! Yeah it is tricky I dont have that much time to vid. I work 40h per week so I have time to vid in the evenings but mostly I vid during weekends :) Inspiration is a pain in the... because I am not watching as many shows as I used to. But I guess if you find your inspiration you will just go with the flow :) so working full time is not taking away vidding, so dont worry about that :)
@@xladyxmacbethx oh, yeah I was too early, don't tell your friends and family 😅 Oh, thanks for reassuring me! I've a lit that you make your own time for passions and things but I feel like I had to hear it form an editor to count 😊 I don't know how many hours I will work, depends on where I find it, but hopefully it will be fine. Don't worry about the shows, I am also very behind in so many that I don't think I will get to all. But I want to edit ad many as I can, even if inspiration is being difficult.
@@TheSongIsEnding yeah i guess it will depends on your mood and how tired you will be :) sometimes i have weeks or months that i dont feel like vidding because work is killing me but sometimes inspiration is winning :) so dont worry! It is possible! :)
