    thank you for this amazing video, we went to Car Toys and they never told us about all the other parts...they wanted 450 DOLLARS for everything (we already spent 300 on the radio). We got everything from this video and did it our selves for only 150 dollars... and everything works amazing.

    Great video. Have you heard of hissing problems or weird sounds after install? My dealer who installed it is going to replace the amplifier in one car but I actually had two 2007 Santa Fe's with this installed and both have issues but different issues. One has hiss as soon as you go to volume 1. The other has hissing plus sound isn't good. He even had to replace both front speakers since they had broken and hoping it's all from the amp. Will try one car and hope that is it and if so replace the other.

    It looks like this Hyundai has the Infinity speaker system. Do you need to us a line out converter (scosche SLC-4) to work with the factory amp? I am considering doing a similar upgrade on my Santa Fe and Crutchfield states I need a LOC because of the factor amp.

    • @ProvoBeastAudio

      Some say yes, other no. We didn't and worked fine, but i do think adding a loc for longevity purposes will be a better solution.

    Thanks a lot for the video. I have a 2011 santa fe (gcc specs) full option. The car comes with a factory touch screen entertainment system however the screen suddenly died a while ago and now it's all black or all white and sometime shows random colors but it's not functioning. The radio and steering wheel controls still work perfectly fine tho. I want to replace the screen but I was wondering since the car comes in with a factory entertainment system will the old screen have the same wiring as the new screen replacement whether it's the model shown in the video or any other model. As in if I take out the original screen and unplug the wiring from it, the new replacement would have the same wiring setup so I can directly plug the old wires in it and have it work perfectly, or would I have to set up a new wiring system (as shown in the video) to plug in the new screen replacement. Thanks in advance.

  • @alexsafri2285
    @alexsafri2285 4 года назад

    I ordered the exact same parts and nothing fits, the harness is entirely different. 🙄
    I have a 2009 Santa Fe, original radio (Model A200 CMCAXM)
    First of all the antenna wire is square, not round so I guess I'll have to buy a past that will transfrom it to circe
    Secondly the METRA 70-7302 Wiring harness does not fit with my original factory harness. The original factory harness is wider and narrower while the metra 70-7302 is more fat/bulky, they just dont go together. I wasted about 3 hrs lol. Now I'll have to figure this out order new parts and hope those will work. Good luck to every DIYer :-)

    • @rvborgh
      @rvborgh 4 года назад

      Blame Hyundai... they used all manner of different radios. The Metra 70-7302 seems only to be for the 2007 and 2008 vehicles with radios made by Delphi.

    • @alexsafri2285
      @alexsafri2285 4 года назад +1

      You'll also need an antenna adapter, as ours is square and aftermarket radios are round. As for the harness i ran into the exact same problem, bought everything from this video only to realize it does not fit. I found Metra 70-7303 is what you need I think!
