You guys realise height isn't the only thing that matters in volleyball do you. Why would he dominate? There is such a thing as being too tall height is a trade off of speed and athleticism for example a libero that is 200cm is at a big disadvantage so is a setter who is over 205cm or a hitter who is over 210cm especially in defense. Height matters but not nearly as much as speed athleticism strength and most importantly technique the taller you are the harder it is to have these attributes and it becomes easier to get injured. so no a guy like him wouldn't be able to play voleyball he wouldn't be able to block anyone even muserskiy who is way way way shorter than him has become slower, weaker and more injury prone over the years.
Did you know that before becoming a member of the national team, Morteza Mehrzad was depressed at home because of his tall stature, broken pelvis, and being almost 15 cm short of one foot at the other? After Morteza Mehrzad participated in an Iranian TV program, he was able to join the national team.
