I love the smashing fenders of a good trailer. Those Chevy parts are getting it stuck. Sinks like a rock. I am a Chevy Fan too. But old Ford big blocks are tough to beat.
that ford couldnt even get outta that little mud puddle. come to Vt.. we can go play n chevy land.. we got mud.. maybe he should try the loud pedal. make that ford perform..
My Chevy on smaller 39.5" tall tires didnt make it threw either. But I was the one after this that had to pull his Ford out after his winch quit working.
@Tboninator Well I stand corrected. Thank you. I personally dont think he was ever stuck lol. None the less a very good axle. I always liked the removable pinion support. Not many axles can take the abuse and not sacrifice alot of ground clearance.
I luv how he destroys the trailer fenders getting the truck off, lol. I see alot of those kinda people where I live too. They are fun to watch on holiday weekends, they just trailer to the deepest mud hole they can find and just take turns running in and pulling each out out until they break. Probably the funnest ones I saw were the guys on 52s, they took turns at this one hole running into water up to their hoods. It was pretty gnarly. :)
It is actually a late 60's model I have narrowed it down to 1967 to 1969 model ford taking a wild guess it looks to be a 67 ford. This generation of trucks were at the the top of their game when they came out, oh what the hell the f-100-f-150 series has always been on top of their game since day 1.
Not trying to harp on old comments but Import2ner36 has some advice for us American enthusiasts... 44" boggers aren't particularly my top choice but, they're a damn good tire. Skinny tires?! Buddy, more track, more traction! Its like regular boots to snow shoes... I dont believe you have anything to teach us good ol' boys, we'll be just fine. To mountainxplorer and Carl, you have one hell of a truck!
im pretty sure my dads 79 chevy with 20inch lift n 44's locked front n rear would tear the shit outta that hole.. but he loves fords too. hesays as long as ur mudding. have fun boys
I'm not the one who was driving, but my motto is I can get anything stuck... and for those who don't have the same motto, I can build a mud pit to get anything stuck haha. I think had he gotten a run at it from way way back further wide open throttle the whole may he may have had a chance at making it. But the end was pretty deep and ruts were deep enough to high center the axles.
i dont see why people argue ford and chevy so much.. all that matters is the size of the engine put in the truck, the size of the tires on it, and the skill of the driver. Who cares what plastic logo is slapped on the grille!
this is a great video! welded diff's. that truck must have sunk 14 inches down in the mud and it was still a beast! just wondering why he couldnt get out of the end....
Lol, I feel sorry for the jeeper, but its lesson everyone learns. Be carefull who you let help you. I had a Ford with 35s and lockers try to pull my CJ out once. He couldn't, started doing too much damage, so told him and his buddies to take a hike, I had friends coming. He was pulling me out backwards when I told him he was done helping, then he wanted to pull foward on it, I told him if he puts that strap on there, I'm cutting it off, lol. He was pissed. We got it out with a stock chevy
ha ha ha impressive video . amazing truck . i do laugh my ass off when the one guy says "not bad for a ford" . i bet ya he is one of those guys with a S10/Blazer with a 4.3 ha ha
I can't remember what motor was in it. But I know later in the day in the other mudhole he was having issues achieving any RPMs. I think he found out later that his distrbutor cap was cracked and got moisure in it.
Well I have a bunch of them. But it is a '76 K5 Blazer (converted to shortbed truck) that at the time had 39.5" Boggers, 1-ton axles, rear locker, open front end. I have 44" Boggers on it now. Carl's ford in this video just about made it to the end, just needed a little tug to get the rest of the way.
this is my favorite video on youtube that truck is a beast
that truck sounds like someone really knows how to build an engine
Always entertaining reading the battle of comments of Chevy vs Ford
Nice ford, wicked mud, good vid!!!
Most Chevs and dodges use Ford front dana 60s and almost every drag car has a Ford 9 inch diff
he has a 14 bolt because they are cheap and very strong
exactly, a ford rear is built to last but they come with a price in this aspect.
I wish I had one of those for going down the shops. What a beast.
super love super bad ass FORDS!!!!
im a chevy guy, but you dont play around with them older fords
I love the smashing fenders of a good trailer. Those Chevy parts are getting it stuck. Sinks like a rock. I am a Chevy Fan too. But old Ford big blocks are tough to beat.
Probably one of the best fords on youtube;)
i like how he just runs over his trailer to get it off lmao
Destruction of trailer fenders and mud hole. Best video ever!!!
MONSTER!!! With right offroading and driving skills, it is ultimate offroad vehicle.
damn that ford is a freakin beast
that ford couldnt even get outta that little mud puddle. come to Vt.. we can go play n chevy land.. we got mud.. maybe he should try the loud pedal. make that ford perform..
My Chevy on smaller 39.5" tall tires didnt make it threw either. But I was the one after this that had to pull his Ford out after his winch quit working.
Sounds amazing wat motor's in it?
@Tboninator Well I stand corrected. Thank you. I personally dont think he was ever stuck lol. None the less a very good axle. I always liked the removable pinion support. Not many axles can take the abuse and not sacrifice alot of ground clearance.

It is actually a late 60's model I have narrowed it down to 1967 to 1969 model ford taking a wild guess it looks to be a 67 ford. This generation of trucks were at the the top of their game when they came out, oh what the hell the f-100-f-150 series has always been on top of their game since day 1.
wow that mud pit is crazy!
It's on my property in NE Washington State.
Is that truck still around today? Would be an awesome video if it was and you did a walk around of it, even if it’s in the bone yard.
Not trying to harp on old comments but Import2ner36 has some advice for us American enthusiasts... 44" boggers aren't particularly my top choice but, they're a damn good tire. Skinny tires?! I'm not the one who was driving, but my motto is I can get anything stuck... and for those who don't have the same motto, I can build a mud pit to get anything stuck haha. thats so cool that your daddy has a big truck
i dont see why people argue ford and chevy so much.. all that matters is the size of the engine put in the truck, the size of the tires on it, and the skill of the driver. Who cares what plastic logo is slapped on the grille!
thatd be scary as hell sittin in the mud with that thing coming after you
sounds healthy, cool video.
might want to look at getting some stronger wheel covers for that trailer :P just a suggestion
this is a great video! welded diff's. that truck must have sunk 14 inches down in the mud and it was still a beast! just wondering why he couldnt get out of the end....

Fuckin FLOOR ITTTTT!
It had a Chevy 14-bolt rear and Ford Dana 60 front, locked both front and back with 5.13 gears.
could you add the extraction i'd like to see what it took to get him out
a Stock S10 would have mud over the floor boards! HAHA Your 100% right!
how did he get it on the trailer without destroying the fender?
yeah i dont like fords that much but this is pretty sick. i was thinking 44" boggers would be too much but dam it spun them fast
