I used to live in Walnut Creek in the 90’s. Although it has grown a lot since then, it was my favorite place to live even though I’m in San Diego now. I love Walnut Creek!
Noice drive through downtown when Neumos Marcus was still there. Now Crate and barrel. We need to keep promoting downtown. I recently uploaded Downtown Walnut Creek video. Thanks for sharing
You didn’t mention Las Lomas High School, my alma mater, class of 65’. It’s “the other high school”. LOL We moved to WC in 1951. I didn’t recognize anything on your video until you drove south on Main Street. I grew up in WC. It was the best town in California! Maybe the world. LOL. Heather Farm (aka: Marshbank Ranch) was still a ranch. I boarded my horse there for $20 a month. Only 5 other boarders. I had a whole shed row and large paddock all to myself. There were walnut groves and pear orchards on Ygnacio Valley Rd. Nina Bancroft was one of my riding friends. Her family owned the walnut groves. All gone now. Sitting on our porch on North Main you had a view of pastures and poppies and a car went by every 15 minutes during rush hour. It was idyllic. To those who remember, I share your memories and your regrets. Walnut Creek was god’s little acre, as the saying goes. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Will watch for the sequel. 😊
I've only seen tarantulas (probably _Aphonopelma iodius)_ up on Mount Diablo. They're nocturnal, but they'll come out of their burrows in the daytime for breeding season, in fall. They're probably in a lot of places around the green spaces and regional parks, but again, hardly ever see them, and never seen them in a home.
Nice and Creative Videos, This is really my favorite channle.:). I really glad to see your post and your world was so brilliant. 🌴🌴🌴 excellent and Much appreciated!!🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 from: Walnut City Los Angeles
I live here and it’s actually boring. Everything is so expensive that you spend most if your time at work just to survive. I’m moving to tampa Florida next year. Can’t wait.
I moved here from Vegas, dont regret it and I would never move to Florida lol. I love Walnut Creek, we get so much rain we didnt get it in Vegas! Its also so green.

I am sold on Walnut Creek! Thank you for the information
My all time favorite restaurant in my entire life is Montecatini! The atmosphere, food and wine never disappoint! It’s on Civic and N. Main.
Love the city of Walnut Creek!
Raised down here! Nothing but good memories. Remember a 7/11 I would love to go to and get slurpees and candy. Miss you, Creek
Such a lovely town, thank you for sharing!

This video makes Walnut Creek seem so empty, it’s a much busier city than this, perhaps you were filming during covid lockdown?

Depends on your field then. In my field, I make way more than if I were in Tampa, which is far less walkable.
You forgot the doggie park
