Intuition is not spiritual. It's a type of inteligence. It's the ability to understand patterns and conect the dots. You should trust our intutition is all situations. It's not magical, is nothing more than you brain conecting the dots even though we can't explain
People at a higher spiritual level absolutely MUST trust their intuition. God says in the Bible, "My sheep know my voice, and I know them. They follow me." John 10:27 This doesn't apply only to Christians, but to anybody of any religion or spiritual path who follow God instead of the devil, and who prefer the good of others over the good of their own self. These people MUST follow their intuition.
Welll I always follow my intuition. BUT intuition is neutral and balanced. If you’re emotional and anxious that shuts off the intuitive part and scientifically the analytical (decision - making ) part of your brain. So when it’s an emotional/important situation for you even a little bit (like a relationship) or you’re in a heightened state it’s going to be hard to decipher what’s intuition or not. Just because you’re thinking about something in your brain over and over and doubting something does not mean that’s intuition, that can be fear and ego. Intuition is a neutral knowing. 🩷
As you mentioned, it's hard to identify where do emotions come from. Are they arising from insecurities or intuition. It's a 'me' problem or a 'them' problem. Maybe most times it's better to talk to your partner about it to understand better. And being a man, since you questioned if we have intuition: we do have intuition, but I feel it's harder to act on it, because we tend to put a a huge layer of thoughts on top of it
I mean first you need to understand what it is. And if you don't then what are you acting on? For instance intuition is both a spiritual and psychic function. And the spiritual aspect is never based in fear unless the psychic aspect has been trained to ignore it. You also need to separate intuition from feeling. Feelings can lead you up the creek without a paddle. And if you are intuitive and feeling as a LOT of women are then you need that logical grounding. I am a man with a powerful intuition and analytical mind. If you think something is missing that is a psychic aspect. Intuition is not thought. Perhaps I saw this because I have a draft titled 'Defining Intuition'. 😅
should you always trust your intuition?

@@WasifSikder interesting perspective. I guess it is a choice, and if you are quite confident in trusting your intuition, then you should trust it.

it's a smart question. we should not trust it always.
i have trouble with my intuition bc i have trust issues/been burned in the past
@@soph01a yes, that'll make it harder to trust your intuition. But don't give up, you can still learn to trust it.
