Paul Bunyan, try righty tighty, lefty loosely. There is no need to remove the bolts; just loosen them, then use the adjusting screw on the other side of the chain bar to remove the slack. Don’t forget to re-tighten the bolts when you’re done.
These little saws have a rinkey dinky oil system that does not work well (or at all) - that chain is dry and dirty. Probably shot from lack of lube. I have one like it and I oil it between cuts.
Several Things wrong with this video. Using a torque wrench as a ratchet? Turning the bar nut the wrong way? Not using the tension adjusting screw to take out the slack out of the chain. DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUYS METHOD, it will not get you anywhere.
