id luv to pick the brains of a composer or traditional (non dance )musician , and get them to explain what chords/key/scales are being used in this track. iv noticed a common thread between alot of my fave ever productions, eg; j-dilla beats/90s nostalgic hip hop -techno house dnb etc. seems less is more when channeling glowing melancholy;) when simple looping melodies carry so much depth & emotion.
