The BLUE Super Type 1 in Burnout 3: Takedown is REAL.

- No, that is not a clickbait title. What you are seeing here is real. The iconic Blue Super Type 1 from the game's intro and menus DOES exist in the game's final build.
This was made possible by changing the colour values for the car using Cheat Engine to a number normally not accessible by regular means. This colour likely would've been used for Team Blue in Team events for the now defunct Online mode, as a Team Red variant exists aswell. Nearly all cars that have multiple colours have these extra Red and Blue colours.
This is just some gameplay showing the Blue Super Type 1 in action for a Road Rage event at Dockside.
This video was made back when Cheat Engine was still much of a necessity in order to adjust values, however nowadays you can use a .pnach file to access these colours. I've posted a link where you can check out the .pnach file to access the Team Red and Team Blue colours in game.
This .pnach is for the NTSC-U (US) version of Burnout 3.

Hi all, if you want to try this out yourself in PCSX2, I've linked a .pnach file where you can try the colours out for yourself.

The first 3 colours repeat themselves (they likely intended to have more colours but went unused), but afterwards the Team Red and Team Blue colours should show up.

No way...... Man, I've always been obsessed with this Super Type, I remember this when I was 5, it's just amazing.
When I was a kid I hated how this car was blue in the intro but I couldn't choose that colour in the game

Megumin Most likely removed due to color limits. Originally, it was five colors, but got changed to three colors. Blue was infamously left out of the game but can be noticeable in screenshots, Signature Takedowns, and Postcards.

The blue one was acsessible using cheats, and you can drive it without cheats in online road rage.
This was an inspiration for me, I dug deeper into HxD editing to make more color mods for other cars 💙

OH wow, that's like a childhood dream come true! Too bad my PAL game skips the language selection on PXSC2 for some reason ... i don't feel like playing in french. also: great picture quality and framerate you have there. Even with today's capable PCs it's not exactly easy to get the emulator dialed in right!

The Super Type 3 not only has a white finish, but there's also an orange finish for it which is seen on the back cover and in prototype builds of the game as well. Both of those colors were cut from the final game.
The Super Type 2 had a white color that was cut, not to mention the front grill was different

I know i have A copy of burnout 3 takedown from a old videogame store years ago on my original xbox 36 hours of gameplay later and it has the blue color on supertype 1. And on burnout revenge my stepmother bought for me from hollywood videos that was like a blockbuster that was shutting down has two crash junctions that have the same name but are two different crash locations. One on the side of the mountain and one on the bridge i guess its rare tbh. And my original xbox still works like a charm after years of owning it.

The super type 1 wasn't ever shown in white. The super types 2 and 3 were though which aren't available in the game either.
I think it was in one of the signature takewdown pics...
Now im unsure so ill just do a quick check

@@demon-x3250 I forgot about that but your right. The signature takedown pictures had some other hidden colors aswell such as a British green color on the custom coupe in the gone fishin image. I think I remember seeing old beta images where a yellow version of the modified sports was present aswell. I should see if I can find that image again somewhere.

Unfortunately there is no way to access the White Super Type 3.

The values you want to enter are "6" (for Team Red) and "7" (for Team Blue).

This colour is only possible because every vehicle has an inaccessible red and blue colour scheme, likely intended for Team modes when this game still had online functionality.

Yellow? Who thought that was a good idea? This is why they should've kept it blue, give another colour to the ugly ADA Super (Type 2, I think).
Its a sort of Ferrari based vehicle, Yellow makes sense for it colour wise. I would've swapped the Black for the Blue personally.
