Great video brother, it's doing what's is meant for! Took a lot of skill to hit that narrow ramp with that big truck. Actually a shock wasn't that bad considering the beating it was taking. Razor broke his shock too. I'd put foam on those risers like you said, throw some body clip tethers on it, tune it how ya want it, call it a day and bash the hell out of it😁👍💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡

Still looks like a fun truck! Every Rc has something that the driver doesn't necessarily like right out of the box. Set it up for your driving style and run it!!! Great little rip Guy even though it gets a sticker now. 😁 # Team not one pack!!
I think the culprit is that orange spring, its extremely stiff, broke my mt plus 2 shock nylon rod end (the end side connected to the arm) after upgrading to orange spring, the softer blue spring didn't cause that issue. But I'm not sure which part breaks on yours is it the whole rod or just the rod end?
Right at the end where it tapers down to starting the threads
Great stuff, shame about the breakage, for some reason it reminds me of my Thunder tiger MT4 k-rock, the way it sounds maybe.
I had this problem with an old losi I had. It would just go in slow reverse. I replaced the POS dx2e with a DumboRC x6 and it never happened again.
Believe it or not that truck Looks and handles a lot like my 2/d monster slash with the wide arm kit I Frankenstein’d on it ,try zip tier to keep the connectors together,

Men that broke soo easy, I never expected that, I was thinking i buy 1/8 that Hobao is out of my list, and you need to check if there another part easy to break, some quality issues from Hobao
There were A LOT of bad landings before the rod end broke. I wouldnt call that "broke easy". The hit at the ramp was the tipping point.
Yes that's why it's a tough call it's had a few battery packs through it already the run at diamond dust I feel was very good handled it well and I am only basing this on what my eyes think they visually saw for this breakage at exactly where it is it's one of those unknowns 😂🤣

Controller is junk
Controller's are fine it just wants the throttle trim setting and the ESC re-calibrating to the radio. Pretty sure you can get some softer springs for the truck as well as it seems a little stuff which could be why the shock shafts are breaking

I'm not sure what truck with Arma would be classified as an MT maybe an outcast or notorious? BUT are you saying this looking at only one video trying to hit a ramp that is the size of the truck? That's where you have to analyze when this vehicle went to diamond dust I feel it handled and flew excellent and that was more at a wide open throttle.

@@stevenhearnden6103 I do feel it's a little high BUT I'm thinking that most people do with anything. The entire money driven world is feeling pain. The Arrma FIRETEAM was VERY HIGH at it's initial release as well as many Traxxas vehicles. Tough call. Again I keep mentioning that this truck is different than what most are used to. Even I need to relearn this particular one. Remember you shouldn't take a new Ford ranger or Raptor to the desert trophy track. 😂🤣
