Oooo I love writing in the landscape direction! Not sure how I feel about the page number/3-books but I guess if you're writing in this direction the entire time, too many pages would make it uneven/uncomfy to write at the beginning and end. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks about it once they get time to actually test it :) Edit to say that I'm team hair-tie! I do that for my A6- Zequenz lol
I might get this just for the help in dividing a page into different sections. I have a A5 BuJo that is huge with extra stuff tipped into it. Then I have a small A6 that lives in my bag. I could see myself getting these notebooks as a bag-book. Currently I mark center-dots on pages by hand on my little A6 books. Not having to do that anymore is a selling point for me.
@@joyletters_ EXACTLY. I've started using Travelers notebooks (both sizes, different purposes) but I feel "dirty" for cheating on the official BuJo notebook (after 5-6 years)
Omg I absolutely love these. I never liked the 120gsm a5 BJ and prefer to Buju on the move and use an A5 standard Leuchtturm for long writing. Thanks for the video and great video!
I'm happy to hear from another 80g paper lover! I like the tactile experience of 120g but fountain pen inks don't dry as well and that's a no-go for me.
How have I never heard of this??? Im a ride or die A6 junkie. However I was wondering, since you've seen them in person, how white the pages actually are. It is bright or grey or cream ect? Also, the way I do my daily pages are cutting the page horizontal then making a faint line in the middle of both days so I can do tasks on one side and memory keeping on the other.
Thanks for the first look at this set! Your video did answer my questions about this! I was surprised it isn’t just one book rather than three, especially for the price and the lack of a real back pocket. I’m curious if this is just for rapid logging tho, because using this in landscape basically only gets you one a5 size page - so half a spread. While I can understand promoting the book basically as a type of “pocket a5” with the landscape use, honestly a6 size is actually exactly the half of an a5 size so I’m not completely sold on the concept here - it feels gimmicky and sort of trying to fit into minimalism (no back pocket, no loop, but it’s three books instead of one…) rather than just being flexible (option to use it vertical or landscape) to me but that’s down to personal preference I guess. I feel like promoting the rapid logging here with the minimalistic approach might have made the idea behind this more solid. It would be interesting to see this in a b6 size, though I feel like that’s rather unlikely since it’s such an uncommon size.
I totally agree that feels like it's perfect as an on-the-go rapid logging option and maybe they should have just gone with that marketing. There's a part of me that wants to ignore the intended use and just use it as an A6 regular notebook 😅
Writing on the “top” page might be awkward or uncomfortable if they made it any thicker. I think using it this way lets you fit a full Bullet Journal style monthly spread, without dividing the month into two.
I was in an A6 bullet journal for 4 years. It was nice having something that would fit in the pocket of my jeans.
Love that too. I always want a little notebook nearby!
Haha I just ordered this as an easy "to transfer into my a5 BuJo later" on the go thing.
And honestly the 46 pages is good enough for me :)
That's a great idea! Love it

Lol hair ties are so versatile 😆 I also love writing landscape! Although I'm tempted to just use this mostly in "portrait", we'll see!

Totally agree, the smart grid system is such a nice touch 👌
Interesting concept to write vertically so it’s A5 size. Can’t wait to see how you use it!
Yeah, it's a unique way to think about using a notebook that's for sure! I think I'll be using it as it's intended but also just, like, normal 😅
IF ONLY this fitted in a Traveler’s notebook leather passport cover… I’d buy 500
I was thinking that too. Imagine a passport official bujo 🫡

We need this notebook with more pages 😂 Thanks for sharing!
I would totally support that 😆

Nice comprehensive review. Could the little pocket in the back hold a Hobonichi basic template stencil?
I don't own one of those but I know what you're talking about. I think it would work and that's a great idea!
New subscriber here but had been following you on Instagram already. Loving your content. ❤
@dleon3406 that means a lot, thanks for being here!

They're cream! It's the exact same paper as classic LT1917 journals.
