When I was a child and even growing up throughout my teenage years, I was unfortunate enough to be subjected to bullying! whether it was because of the clothes I wore, where I came from, how I spoke, my personal appearance, my family background, no rock was left unturned for those who found it amusing to mock me.
For many years I wanted revenge in my head for the treatment I received, however in my heart I never had the courage to physically fight back or indeed verbally return the favour.
And now at the age of 40, with my extensive ability and knowledge for music I did the one thing I knew would be the best way to get my revenge.....through the power of song and the lyrics involved. so here it is "Kick me down" in the form of a Scottish Sea shanty style/ with elements of pirate rock and harmonies. hope you all enjoy this one and take pride knowing that whoever has been in the same predicament as myself, just know that you are never alone...and Bullies will never win the day!
